High School Graduation Vacation
Publié le 11 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayOur family had a great time. We loved the secluded cabin and the access to Buena Vista and Salida. Going to bed with the windows open and falling asleep to the sounds of Browns Creek was awesome. Rick is a wonderful host. Very flexible and easy to reach if needed. We were blessed to find one of the coolest places in Colorado to make memories with our daughters!

We enjoyed sitting by the stream and hearing it during the night. The location worked well for our activities of hiking and being in nature. If we needed to access a town, Buena Vista and Salida were within reach.

Delightful, cozy mountain cabin along stream
Publié le 20 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe thoroughly enjoyed our time at this cabin tucked in at the base of mount Antero but convenient to local towns of Buena Vista & Salida. We acclimated here in preparation for a longer stay at altitude and enjoyed hikes, fishing high country lakes, and floated the Arkansas. Great amenities and communication with host.

Perfect Cabin for relaxing

We drove up to St. Elmo, hiked and went to Cache Creek to find gold. Its the perfect cabin to getaway and relax. We will be definbe back.

Beautiful home and a great location
Publié le 8 août 2024 sur HomeAwayHouse was beautiful with great views and your own piece of Brown’s Creek. Rick was very helpful and great to work with. Location is great for rafting, shopping, dining out, hiking, fishing and many other things to do in the area. Will definitely book again.

Wonderful Family Spot!

The cabin was just what we were hoping for - a beautiful, quaint, clean spot for our family to relax amidst the mountains.

Mountain cabin in aspen grove
Publié le 23 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis cabin was perfect for our stay in the mountains. It is nestled in aspens with views of mountains and a meadow. The creek is within steps of the house and lovely to look at and listen to. It’s a great fishing spot but don’t tell anyone!
The house is not a rustic cabin but a comfy home with everything you need for preparing meals.
It’s easy to get to town, to hot springs and to hiking trails but we didn’t really want to leave the cabin!
