Inside the Inn was fine. We felt that being a historical place, the owner would have kept the site in good repair. It was in great need of repainting to the columns on the porch, shutters, door entries etc. There were SO many dead bugs, flies & cobwebs on the windows, doors & bbq grill, you hated to touch the door knob to let yourself in.
Inside, it had been nicely redone with period appropriate furnishings & artifacts. Our room was nice & clean. However, the mattress was in great need of being replaced as it felt as old as the Inn itself.
Our hostess was very kind & sweet.
For the fees they charge each guest, the owner of the property needs to take some pride in this beautiful property & clean it up & fix it up to what it’s deserving of.
