It is a decent hotel that I always stay and I always got nice welcome message from A.FO Mgr and I needed my white shirt that had stain on it in an hour and they made it happen. Wonderful housekeeping team.. never gonna forget. Thank you all from MGallery.

Not bad, but perhaps you may like to look around

I recently spent 3 nights at 'The Lake Garden', Nay Pyi Taw (M-Gallery Collection) for work related reasons. The hotel itself is pleasant and the surroundings beautiful, however some of the staff I had interactions with were unable to understand basic English which made ordering food, changing money, directions to land marks etc. difficult. (although there is not much to see in Nay Pyi Taw itself) With reference to the hotel room itself (Deluxe Suite - Balcony) it was a decent size, though the pillows are HARD...., the Air-con did not work despite repeated requests for a tech to deal with the issue, the complimentary sugar snacks left as a gift on the coffee table, along with the fruit bowl appeared like they had been sitting there for sometime. (they were also not changed while I was there). There are also mozzies in the rooms, plenty of those which will no doubt keep you awake. The hot water also takes sometime to kick in, so be patient. The breakfast is good though, and try the Italian restaurant in the hotel which serves great pizza's and plenty of cold local beer.

Dear Jason We thank you for your recent stay and truly appreciate for highlighting the areas of improvements. Regarding English speaking skills of the staff, we have recently recruited English Language Teacher to take charge of training all hotel staffs English language. Pillows on the day bed on the balcony are mainly placed for decorative purpose, hence they will be slightly harder for a guest to use them as sleeping pillows. We have five types of pillows provided in all guestrooms (Some are on pillows menu) to enhance sleep quality of our value guests like you. I apologise for cleanliness of the coffee table and air-conditioning technical faults. In regards to welcome amenity - fruit bowl, I agree that it should have been removed when the fruits were not in good condition. I will investigate and take appropriate measures to prevent from future occurrence. We have taken necessary action to contain the mosquito related issues. Once again, we thank you for your feedback which are very important for us. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused due the shortfalls. We hope to welcome you back in near future. Excellent hotel!

M gallery surpassed all expectations. From entering the hotel the service was attentive. Plenty of international papers in the lobby to keep you busy. The room was extremely comfortable. Enjoyed all the facilities, very nice gym in particular. Plenty of nice restaurants on site. Particularly enjoyed the $20 shared local meal. One of the best things I've eaten in Myanmar. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough.
