The front staff was rude, a two story motel with no elevator ? When my husband informed the front staff that we were senior citizens and I was handicapped he basically indicated that he could have cared less. We started up the stairs and then my husband said I’m going to ask if they have a room on the first which they did. Why didn’t the insolent staff offer it? We took it even though we had to sleep on separate beds. We will NEVER stay in a Best Western again!!! By the way doesn’t the Disability Act cover this????

Thank you for staying with us, Ann. I will meet with my desk staff on being more proactive when guests do not explicitly state what they need by asking more follow up questions. To answer your question regarding the ADA, buildings less than three floors do not require an elevator, with some exceptions. Be assured that we follow all guidelines laid out within the law. We chose the Best Western because we had stayed there on another occasion. Our 1st night was ok but in the morning we found out we had no hot water in the bathroom sink. My husband told the staff and we thought it might be fixed by evening when we returned after being out all day. It was not. The did try to put us in a new room and it smelled like something was burning. They did get us a second room and the night was good. When we arrived back the next day after being gone again all day our card key wouldn't work. Had it rescanned to work. Total we spent 4 nights .
