Publié le 16 août 2024 sur HomeAwayI PAID AND BOOKED, BUT WAS TOLD A DAY PRIOR THAT I CAN NOT COME BECAUSE PROPERTY WAS RENTED LONG TIME AGO. OWNER SAID CAN NOT REIMBURSE ME. MY GUESS IS THEY FOUND BETTER DEAL AND KICKED ME OUT. APPARENTLY THIS HAPPENED BEFORE.

Publié le 4 sept. 2022 sur HomeAwayAs far as the property itself, we knew from the pictures and other reviews what to expect, and it met our needs. Our problem is we reserved the property for a Fri and Sat night, paid our fee and received a email confirmation from VRBO Then we received a message from the property owner stating the property was not available for Fri, but they could still rent it to us for Sat. There is only two ways this could happened, the property owner is an incompetent business person or they had a more profitable side deal with someone. We made the decision to stay just the one night. Their rate for the two nights originally planned was $x per night plus a $x cleaning fee and a $x service fee. When our stay was reduced to one night, at the fault of the property owner, we we were still charged the full $x cleaning fee and $x service fee that it would have been for two nights. Its not the money its the point, no reputable business person does things that way.

Unique country setting
Publié le 7 août 2022 sur HomeAwayVery clean!! Property manager, Maria, is very charming! She gave us vegetables from the garden and fresh eggs from the chickens. One thing to note - there are no cooking supplies in the way of alt/pepper, oil,, etc. Plenty of dishes and utensils.
It wa perfect for my husband ad i since we were only using it as a place to sleep - did not cook on-site etc.

Beautiful property and so welcoming!

Perfect rural getaway, relaxing and calm, and the host was so kind (even proving us fresh veggies from the garden!). Even with a storm blowing through we were able to grill under the covered patio. Very thoughtful touches. Would stay here again!

Perfect for what we needed

Made reservations for two nights, only stayed one
Publié le 20 sept. 2021 sur HomeAwayWe have stayed at numerous VRBO's and have had great success. Didn't realize in the photos that there was NOT a living room. Indicates it is a cozy place in the country but all there is to sit on is either a hard kitchen chair or lawn chair. No living room, no couch, no soft chairs, TV is on top of the refrigerator. Indicates they have internet so we messaged the host inquiring about Wi-Fi and they never responded until the next day after we had left. We have stayed other places in the same price range and had many more amenities and accommodations. Just couldn't get comfortable and felt stressed so checked out after less than 24 hours.

Sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy your stay with us. All the photos are shown and clearly show we don’t have a living room. We are sorry that you missed that. The Wi-Fi is very weak as the property is located in the woods. Most of our visitors really come here to relax and stay off the TV and Internet. They love that the signal is so weak so they can enjoy their time with family and friends. Some of the highlights of our property and why people come back are: biking ,walking on the field, going to pick mushrooms in the woods,Picking flowers, feeding and seeing our animals, grilling the fire pit and seeing the stars at night. We are located close to the Dells which offers lots of restaurants and entertainment for everyone. Also people come to experience the farm living as sometimes you can’t experience that when you live in the big city. We hope you give our property a chance again in the near future.

Sweet spot on the farm
