Great View
Publié le 23 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayIf you are looking for a cozy cabin with a great view of Lake Superior, look no further. It was awesome to sit in the hot tub and look out at the lake. There was also a deck over the shore to just watch the waves or catch a spectacular sunset or sunrise. Overall, highly recommended.

Thank you for the 5 star review and being our guests. It is hard to beat the amazing views, lakeshore setting, moon rises & incredible northern lights. It is exciting to experience The Gales of November with fantastic fall storms and enormous waves whilst being safe & warm inside with all the comforts of home. 😌 We remind guests The Cottage is available year-round because we embrace all four seasons in the North! Professional snow removal services are provided during the snowy times. ⛄️

Goregeous view and super comfortable cottage

Communication was very good with the owner, and we appreciated the tips on some things to keep in mind when crossing the border from the US to Canada (no bear spray!). Would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous, inside and out

Beautifully decorated and well appointed with lots of thoughtful touches like the bevy of spices for cooking, two coffeemakers (filters provided), LED candles, vented fireplace for heating, and so many more. Comfortable and quiet, the perfect getaway to unwind. Believe the description and reviews, it’s a gem.

Amazing Sunrise
Publié le 28 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWaking up to the beautiful sunrise with coffee on the deck and a fire what absolutely superb. What more can you ask when you need to unplug and have quiet time. The view is spectacular, the home is set-up with all that you need. All you have to do is bring your stuff and groceries and enjoy the peace of being up north!!!!

Thank you for being our guests. The Cottage is “off the beaten path” (HWY 61) right on Lake Superior and is an absolute treasure for those who crave a true North Shore experience away from the crowds. The “nook” & fire table on the front deck is the perfect place to enjoy the spectacular views whilst enjoying a cup or coffee or glass of wine. So glad you had a chance to unplug, unwind and enjoy!

5 Star Wonderful!
Publié le 19 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe’ve stayed at many vacation properties through out the years. This one takes the cake though! It’s extremely clean,organized and updated. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Beyond being a wonderful home though, the location takes it over the top. It’s right on the shore of Lake Superior with amazing views. Add to that all the Mink Mountains outside your door - this stay will be hard to beat anywhere else.
Don’t hesitate to book here. You won’t be disappointed!

Thank you so much for the 5 star review. We always do our best to provide a clean, updated, comfortable “home away from home” for guests visiting this incredible location. Lake Superior frontage, fabulous views and the surrounding mountains make this North Shore visit hard to beat for sure!
