Shower was in awful condition, room itself ok - overall not worth what they charge. During breakfast hot dishes were basically cold, coffe tasted like motor oil. Service at the bar was great.

Great staff, good pool, bad room

unclean, cracks in the walls, bathroom full of ants and mosquitoes, broken cot for the baby, unclean linen, power trips 3 x a day, bland basic food.
1hr wait for a srilankan breakfast.

I Have stayed At many Hotels Of A wide Range, I'm Not A Snob And Maybe I Got Unlucky With The Day But After Travelling The World I Have never Stayed anYwhere Worse, Including $10 hotels.
No Blankets, Front Desk Unable tO answer The Most Basic Questions, Info Binder Provided ... BUt It Is Empty. The Manager Said All He Could Do was A Free SHuttle To The Airport (Hotel Charges $25 but Taxi Costs Only $10) and He Would Not Let US Leave Until We Wrote In his Guest book That He Was "Kind Enough" To Give Us A Free Shuttle.
Please Stay Else Where.

Publié le 15 mars 2016 sur HotelsThe hotel is attached to a convention center and obviously caters for that market. The rooms are small and so is the TV. There are no lifts, the aircon is preset. The neighbourhood is far away from the city. The food in the restaurant was below par for all three guests. For the price you can do better elsewhere. Charged us US 20.00 for 5km trip to airport. One good feature is a huge pool.

Pour : The personal. Nice great pool with sweet water, not so great as some other hotel. Only 1.5 km to the beach. Many shops on the street outside.
Contre : breakfast - WiFi can be much more better - room service
Emplacement : Location is nice - nice restaurant in and outside - many shops outside the hotel
I stay there for buisness, three nights. Hotel is clean, personal frindly. I was alone there, so i have the pool for me! Breakfast can be better, maybe, when more visitors are in the hotel they have buffet, i don`t know. But for this price, it was really okay, all. Personal was friendly, clear.

Very unorganized!
Publié le 24 nov. 2015 sur HotelsAs a backpacker, I decided to book this hotel mainly for 3 reasons; laundry service, free wifi and airport transfer (as it is close to the airport). The room in itself was a very nice size and the bed was comfortable. I also like the big terrace with the view over the pool area (although the windows were not sound proof and there was a wedding there during the day which made it hard to relax). When I arrived I asked about the laundry service which they told me I had to ask about in the morning. The next morning I asked the staff in the reception and they told me that the hotel didn't offer laundry service at all! They did however contact a laundry service place for me and sent my clothes away but when I got the laundry back later I had to travel to town to take out cash as the price was almost $50 for three bags of laundry and they wouldn't accept card! I also asked the staff about fixing me airport transfer, and they told me to wait in the reception at 10pm. When I arrived, they didn't understand that I had booked transfer through them and I waited for 45 minutes before they understood that someone was suppose to pick me up. They had simply forgotten to book med a taxi. Also, the wifi didn't work at all, except for in the restaurant. Some of the staff was very friendly, some was directly rude. My aircondition also stopped working during the day.

Publié le 18 oct. 2015 sur HotelsThe Sri Lankan breakfast served is delicious & a must try. It was part of my complimentary B & B package. The service staff are super friendly & very courteous. The local tuktuk charges approx SLR 200 to take one from this hotel to the beach area which has some good night clubs. The hotel is of course at very short distance from International airport. On Fri /Sat a live band plays in dining area & they are good. People in the area know this hotel mainly because it hosts lots of wedding receptions.
