Amazing Villa in the foothills of Verona

I will struggle to explain the rustic beauty and luxurious feel of the property. Our hosts were so kind and helpful. They ensured our stay was perfect and went above and beyond to help us when we had travel difficulties. It's so nice to find genuinely caring people. We will never forget our brief but wonderful vist.

An amazing stay! 10/10
Publié le 23 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was an amazing property. Myself and 7 others checked in for a long weekend away. We were all blown away at how beautiful the house and garden were. We spent the weekend relaxing in the garden, using the pool and sauna, eating outside and having movie nights.
The setting is so idyllic. The property is tucked away in the countryside overlooking a vineyard. It is about 20 minutes in a taxi from the city centre which makes it easy to get to. Remember to bring cash for the taxi as the internet for the card machines doesn't always work.
Francesca is a 10/10 host. She was there when we needed her, very quick to respond to questions over the phone and helped us with taxis. She made the whole settling into the house seamless.
I can't fault the house or the host. I would 100% come back to this house!

The bedding was as advertised, but the small single room had no window and no air conditioning. The dishes in the cupboards weren't really clean and there was even a used pot in the cupboard. This was probably due to the defective dishwasher. The landlady tried to fix the problem. In addition, the television (for children) in the living room also didn't work and the laundry from the washing machine also came out a bit dingy. All in all, the overnight price of EUR 700.00 per night is very high. In addition, there is the very poor access route to the accommodation, which can almost only be managed with four-wheel drive.

Answering (details below):
- Dishwasher's problem was solved in 24h.
In the meantime we washed your crockery.
- Tv : we would have solved the issue in 24h if your dog had allowed technician to enter in the living room.
- Washing machine works.
- If the 2 parking spaces one meter from the entrance are inconvenient to reach, there are 3 more available at 60 meters, as communicated to you.
Details by point:
- The dishwasher's problem had not been reported to us by previous guests. Once reported to us by you, it was solved in 24h. In the meantime all the dishes have been washed by us as free extra service to relieve you of any inconvenience.
Technician also found big pieces of food that could cause damages. It is suggestable to rinse before.
- The television was just unprogrammed. The technician was immediately available for reprogramming, but despite having communicated the technician's arrival time, you left the dog locked in the living room and the technician could not enter.
- the rate is for 8 persons including Vrbo fee, cleaning cost and extra cleaning cost for dog.
About the dog, it would be useful to warn the host that your dog is very aggressive towards people.

Publié le 20 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayThis house is absolutely gorgeous and in such a lovely setting. We had plenty of space for our family of 4, and the house was extremely clean and nicely appointed. Francesca’s yard is beautiful and she was such a great communicator. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back!
