Clean, affordable and great location to beach. Right next door to Best of the West restaurant and a short walking distance to shopping and grocery store. Staff very friendly and attentive. Second stay here and will return.

Run down, just a place to rest your head with no tv , fans , great view in the back. I actually booked 6 nights and only slept there once as I was bouncing around.
If you are a hippie, into “camping”, and a simple easy person, this is the place for you. Beach directly across the street.
You can get a room on the beach , with amenities for much less $.
I’m not a pool person, but if I was I would have been disappointed and so will you.
This could be a beautiful property if it was kept up and buildings need maintenance badly.

We are grateful for your review and sorry you were disappointed in the pool...it is just a splash pool but we do keep it clean and maintain the outdoor covered living room with very comfortable sofas...the entire property is constructed of wood and does present a constant maintenance issue due to the harsh environment of being located across from the sea...however you are correct that they need repainting again...every 2-3 years to be precise...we do not offer TV and don't advertise that we do...Bluetooth stereo only...again I apologize for not being able to satisfy all of your needs.

It's a hotel for the locals so if you want to stay for a long time i would suggest staying else where. But for a short stay this place is perfect.

Rustic bamboo on the property, fans in the room, hot water, screened porch.
John was great when we needed help!
Pool was sketchy, lack of lighting in the rooms, light was temperamental in the bathroom as well as the air conditioner.

Rustic and Peaceful

I was in the mountain view apt and enjoyed eating breakfast on my private veranda in the morning. Kitchen facilities were welcome to do a little cooking. A minor repair was requested and fixed in less than 30 minutes. Safe for a woman traveling alone. A cozy bedroom. Best jerk chicken ever at Best in the West just steps away.

It was quiet; that to me was good. The lighting where I stayed was poor. Water pressure was low both in using the toilet and getting a shower if your neighbor and who else might be using it at the same time. overall it
could do with a little improvement of the areas I mentioned. The Manager/Owner was a pleasant and cordial person.
