Excellent property

Rained most days but the view from the open verandah was amazing, with something happening on the water every minute. The unit was well stocked with everything you would requiire. Bed was really comfortable and shower was very good. Only downside is no Aircon for summer. stays. But we will be back. Loved it.

Thank you for your review. Pleased you enjoyed your stay even though the weather was not favourable. Regarding air conditioning we have stayed in the unit during summer. The ceiling fan and the other fans are sufficient together with breeze off the water,. A problem with air conditioning is that guests leave it on when they leave the unit during the day and when they vacate the unit.

The view was lovely and we were very fortunate to have perfect weather ,

Great spot, walking distance to town via Cycleway, quick walk to beach, great sunsets from the balcony. Was spacious enough for 3 of us, wifi worked well, beds were comfy but pillows were poor quality and need replacing.
Didn’t like the fact we had to make our own beds on arrival, no toiletries apart from hand soap, second bedroom had dusty floor and rotten apple core under bed, pillow had stains on it, no tea, coffee or milk provided, and it was very damp due to condensation on windows.

Had everything we needed to be warm and cool and make ourselves at home. Communication with Alan was easy. All instructions were easy. The bed was comfy. 5 star rating. Thanks so much we’ll be back!

Great two bedroom apartment overlooking beach
Publié le 22 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis property is perfectly located overlooking Dutchman's beach, a stones throw from the ocean and reasonably priced. It’s located in a quiet area with a full kitchen and two bedrooms with a door to separate the lounge. My kids enjoyed being able to duck down to the beach with ease and I really enjoyed watching the sunsets and enjoying the birdlife. My only suggestion would be to provide towels and there was a little bit of mould on one of the blinds that triggered my lungs but otherwise a fantastic property that I will stay at again if we go back to Nelson Bay.

Thank you for your review.
We used to provide towels. In fact we supplied towels sufficient for a number of reservations. It became apparent that some guests were using a new towel every day. Some guests were using them as beach towels. We do provide details of an agency were towels can be hired.
