Wonderful stay!
Publié le 19 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a really wonderful holiday in Nerja and enjoyed staying in this very comfortable and peaceful house. The house was very spacious, with a very well-stocked kitchen and two lovely bedrooms. We spent most of our time on the roomy terrace which was very private and had gorgeous views over an old aqueduct and the mountains, as well as the shared pool. We made good use of the pool but also spent a lot of time on the nearby Burriana beach. The walk was about 15 minutes with children, and they managed it very well. We didn't have a car but the local bus service was good, and we also enjoyed walking to town during the cooler parts of the day. One of the highlights of the stay was the beautiful gardens surrounding the house, which were full of tropical plants. John was an excellent host and accessing the property was easy, with clear instructions provided well in advance. Thank you very much, we would love to stay in the future.

Lovely house in a wonderful location

The location is superb and made for a lovely adventure in Nerja and surrounding villages.

Nice Oasis

The Gardens are very nicely taken care of. Ist a great walk to the beach. The only thing worth mentioning is that the access to the pool was somewhat cumbersome and the rules are a bit strict limiting the fun for the kids.
Otherwise full recommendations!

Had a problem with the pool pass on our 1st day but Stephen arrived within 15minutes to deliver another pass. Comfy bed, well-equipped kitchen with large fridge. Even a couple of folding chairs & parasols provided which were great at the beach.
Quiet area, felt really safe day & night.
15minutes walk to Burriana beach where the sea was cool & clear, restaurants, small supermarket.
30minute walk to Nerja centre, many shops & restaurants, we didn't have a car and found everything we needed in walking distance.
The villa was spacious and a lovely place to stay. John the villa owner was also very helpful before our stay, recommending airport transfer company, restaurants etc.
19 Casablanca was a thoroughly enjoyable place to stay

We would move in and will definitely come back!

Perfect winter stay
Publié le 2 mars 2024 sur HomeAwaySuch a homely, comfortable villa in the beautiful Oasis de Capistrano area. It was very quiet out of season which is just how we like it! The private balcony meant that we could sunbathe daily and then use the very efficient pellet burner to take any chill off inside when the sun went down. Weekly service of new bedding and towels was a lovely surprise as we hadn't read it in the blurb 😊 Would very highly recommend it and hope to stay again.

The setting - The Oasis - is a feast for the eyes.
(A piece of advise for winter guests: be sure to arrive with plenty of 1- and 2-euro coins for heating. It is not always easy to get hold of the coins, and our experience was that about 6 or 7 euros per day are needed to keep the house pleasantly warm when the night temperature is about 8 degrees celcius or below).
