Amazing place for Retreat
Publié le 8 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayI hosted 8 guests for a yoga & wellness retreat. Alicia set us up with options for massage and horseback riding and was responsive with any questions. The trails are beautifully marked and we wandered through the woods down to the creek and waterfall. The campsites are groomed and marked clearly with a modern and updated bathhouse just for them.
The rooms are clean and cozy. So many towels and blankets for extra convenience. The beautiful outdoor deck was perfect for sunset views, sound bath and yoga.
We can’t wait to go back for next year.

Family reunion

We had a lovely time together lots of room for playing games and eating at the lovely tables indoors and out. Lots of games to play. Grandkids had a ball. Yuba river felt really good, hot days. Air conditioning was awesome. wild turkeys were cool. Came to visit in the yard one day. lovely hikes down to the creek

Great family retreat!
Publié le 28 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayLots of room, great hiking from the house, two areas where groups of people could comfortably congregate. There were two kitchens! The family staying downstairs (one of my sons and his partner and my brother-in-law and his daughter) stored their drinks and snacks downstairs. There is an outside entrance to the downstairs family room and kitchen.
If you fill all the bedrooms, the bathroom situation will be a little tight. There is one full bath in the master, another full bath upstairs that the other three bedrooms share, a third full bath upstairs between the kitchen and the fifth bedroom upstairs and a full bath downstairs for the two bedrooms to share. The house easily accommodated 14 people. Several of the generation in their 20's and 30's hiked down to the river. Deer and turkeys came right up to the house and hung out. There was even a baby deer on the property. The property manager was friendly, responsive and very accommodating, offering to find vendors for the various activities we planned. This is a very comfortable house with all the amenities.

Really enjoyed our stay
Publié le 23 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThis property was the perfect place for our wedding party to stay. We got married in the area, and this house was nearly big enough to accommodate all of us.
My only comment would be to possibly have more trash bags available to the guests, maybe under the kitchen sink? While completing the checkout list, taking all the trash to the big trash cans would have been easier if there were more large trash bags available.

Family reunion

There were well maintained walking trails, plenty of chairs and areas to sit and enjoy the outdoors, and a wide variety of games and activities for ALL ages available (indoor and outdoor). Alicia, our host, was super helpful. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would!

Magical!
Publié le 16 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayOur group of 16 had an amazing stay here! We are a group of homeschooling families and we all found comfy spots to sleep. The beds and bedding are all comfy and in great condition. Everything was clean and well supplied.
Several people in the group love to cook and appreciated the very well-stocked kitchen. There were many different areas in the the house so that people could do different activities but there was also room for us all to be together. And it is beautiful outside! The view from the deck is gorgeous. We went on some really special hikes on the property and didn't feel the need to go explore elsewhere, actually! Several members of the group went horseback riding and said it was really an exceptional experience.
When we reached out to the host with any questions, she responded quickly and seemed happy to help. We plan to go back for sure!

Comfortable, roomy house

The house was in an area that provided hikes and seclusion. The property manager was very responsive to needs and questions, and we had no problems. We would definitely come back. Thank you.

Wonderful retreat!
Publié le 26 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayRoomy, well equipped home with amazing trails and views. Watched the wild turkeys and deer wonder about. The deck overlooking the changing fall trees in the canyon was magical.
