Special Family 4th of July Getaway
Our extended family of seven adults, two children and two dogs stayed here for two nights and loved the home. The game room was a hit and we enjoyed playing one of the many games provided. Very comfortable beds and a great kitchen to prepare meals for a large family. The kids loved the cereal bar and the adults appreciated the charging stations, coffee station and the miscellaneous bath necessities! Geeta was very responsive and so kind! Definitely recommend staying at Geeta's beautiful home!

Amazing Home!
We stayed in this home with several family members while we were in Nevada City for my son's wedding. The house was perfect for our family to get ready for the wedding and just to hang out and enjoy our time together. There are so many wonderful little details about this home that made our stay extra special. We have amazing memories of the both the wedding and our stay in this home!

As Advertised
From the very start, Geeta was responsive, and kindly provided all the necessary information to make our stay smooth and complete. This is a place that lives up to the posting. Mid century decor gives the look, and the house is stocked with all that you’ll need. You’ll be surprised at the thoughtful detail, you really will. I have family nearby, and will certainly be back. Foothills Getaway
We had a wonderful stay at the house. It was spacious, comfortable, clean and had ample parking. Not only were all the usual necessities provided, but there were also some surprise snacks awaiting us. The home is conveniently located and our host was very informative and helpful with quick responses. We enjoyed mine tours, train museums, hiking, and shopping. The Crystal Hermitage Gardens made a perfect backdrop for family photos and our out-of-state relatives particularly enjoyed the area. We're all looking forward to a return visit.

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful home for a month and truly wish I could have stayed longer. It’s nestled up among the pine trees with a complete private feeling yet a super short 5 min drive to Nevada City. Every attention to detail and warmth of the inside decor did not go unnoticed - definitely a wonderful “home away from home” (if not better). The host was absolutely incredible to work with, super accommodating, and available for anything during my stay. I highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again!

Gorgeous home and service!
We rented this house for the New Year. The service was amazing, Geeta responded to all questions and requests very quickly and ensured that we had a great holiday for all 4 days. Thank you for the beautifully set table and good cleaning of the rooms! Special thanks to the games room downstairs - we had a great time playing pool and air hockey. The nature around is perfect and I advise everyone to go to the Cascade Canal Trail near the house. We will definitely come back to you! Thanks a lot!

Lovely, welcoming, and comfortable properly. Well stocked kitchen, all appliances in perfect shape. Tons of shared space to hang out, play games, have family meals. Bedrooms are generously sized, and beds were comfortable. The property is surrounded by woods, walking trail just down the street. Close to town, groceries. Very responsive host who is clearly focused on making guest stays memorable. We were contacted in advance about whether we'd like Christmas decorations, and the gold/teal Christmas tree was stunning in the corner window. We'd eagerly consider a return trip.

Lovely cooking and family friendly house
We are two families who stayed here for Thanksgiving week. We enjoyed the area and house. It was well set-up in all aspects and had many thoughtful touches from teas to toothbrushes. Geeta was very responsible and easy to communicate with and helped answer questions not just about the house but also the area. It was super easy to cook Thanksgiving meal and then to go on nearby walks or head to town. Our dog enjoyed the grounds and watching the foosball matches.

My wife and I had a fantastic stay in this well kept and fully stocked home close to Nevada City. Nice fenced lot for our dogs in a beautiful wooded area. We would definitely come back when we visit Nevada City and the Sierra Nevada foothills!

Great for all types of groups including dogs and babies
Our recent stay was an absolute dream for our work team + our 1.5 year old & doggy. This was our first getaway as a company and Geeta truly made it special. Traveling with a baby and a dog can be stressful but Geeta’s place was completely baby proofed and very dog friendly, equipped with a baby gate, a baby carrier, a doggy waste station, a leash and dog bowl! We really appreciated the highchair and the baby utensils. We also found two tricycles in the garage which were an instant hit with the baby. You definitely won’t have to bring your own baby toys with, as this house included children’s books, toys, games, and even an electronic activity/learning station. The kitchen was a huge highlight of our stay. It had any appliance you would need. Every night we made elaborate meals that wouldn’t have been possible in a smaller kitchen. We appreciated the wide variety of spices on the rack and the breakfast corner with complementary snacks and cereals. We made use of the bbq grill as well! We also appreciated the beautifully set table upon our arrival. Thank you, Geeta for making our first work trip one for the books. We would 100% recommend anyone stay here and will tell our friends about it.

Great Property Surrounded by Nature
Extremely peaceful property, enjoy sitting outside on the deck looking at nature. The house is just as described. Our host was extremely responsive with questions and helped right away. The beds were extremely comfortable, our family of 6 had plenty of room. We had a great time playing monopoly with the family, we made memories that we will never forget. If you want a peaceful place to stay with a great host this is the place.

Perfect Getaway
This has been the best VRBO property that we have stayed at in the five years we have used this app. Giving this location, and Geeta the host, five stars seems like an injustice. Everything about this place is even better than the listing. Communication with Geeta was prompt, helpful, and very cordial. This is also the first place we have stayed at that we didn’t need to bring anything. They had it all. Highly, highly recommended.

Wonderful 2 Day Weekend
The house was just how it was described. It was pristine and modern on the inside and had everything we needed…and more! We forgot our toiletry bags and coffee creamer at home, but luckily the house had free toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, etc. It even had a snack, cereal and coffee bar! We enjoyed the sauna and the game room. We were there for the weekend to enjoy the snow up in the mountain, but enjoyed staying at this house even more. The best thing about it is the gracious, sweet, and thoughtful hostess, Geeta. She was very responsive and kind. We would come back again!
