A Walker’s Paradise
Publié le 20 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayWalk out the door and turn right and you can walk a ¼ mile to the Deer Creek Tribute Trail, a lovely hike. Turn left out the door and you are an easy ½ mile walk from downtown Nevada City and all its restaurants and stores. I stayed for a week and walked everywhere, never moving my car.
The property is cute, clean and comfortable. The screened porch is a peaceful spot to unwind, though I was here at the wrong time of year to enjoy it properly. I hope to be back in the spring. Betsy is a wonderful host. She has obviously put a lot of thought into her guest’s needs.
I highly recommend this property.

Cute cottage in the woods
Publié le 10 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is the perfect place to stay near Nevada city. You feel like you are out in the woods, but you are actually close to town and the hiking trails. The cottage was very cozy and extremely well equipped. The owners were very responsive to our requests. The place is perfect for a couple and we hope to return again soon.

Everything is very comfortable: the bed, the couch and the porch chairs.

Relaxing & Comfortable Cottage
Publié le 14 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is our 2nd time to stay there. This time we were able to sit on the screened-in back porch which we truly enjoyed all day. The bed is comfortable and we ate out both nights, Friar Tucks and Brew Haus, highly recommend both.
We will return again because it is truly a relaxing getaway.

Publié le 13 août 2024 sur HomeAwaySuper cute cottage that felt secluded and off the beaten path (but just a 15 min walk to Nevada City downtown). Love that the cottage included a full kitchen rather than a kitchenette. The back patio is a great hangout space that has that indoor/outdoor feel! We had a gorgeous day at the Yuba River bookended with dinner at The National and the Holbrooke Hotel. Lovely stay!
