Creekside Stay
Publié le 25 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe came to Nevada City to visit family, the Creekside Hideaway was the perfect accomodation for us. We are active seniors and enjoyed the easy access of downtown NC restaurants and shops.
The studio apartment had everything we needed. It's unusual to find a King bed in a studio. The mattress was very comfortable with great linens and the outdoor patio by the creek was a place we enjoyed coffee and evening cocktails. We felt safe and secure
I had some technical difficulties with my VRBO app, but their technical support helped and I was able to contact the owner, Robert with very quick responses from a few questions we had. Aside from a couple very minor issues that have been communicated with the owner our stay was great!

Great cozy nook
Publié le 15 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had an excellent time staying here. The creek was very nice to hear and it was nice and comfortable staying in the cabin. Huge comfy bed. Also surprisingly good soundproofing in the cabin itself.

Great location to explore historic Nevada City
Publié le 7 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was our first visit to Nevada City and we loved the town and the region. The Creekside Cottage is a very short walk to town. The cottage is located over the creek which is beautiful. You can hear the roar of the creek although it is not too visible from the cottage. Everything in the cottage was super clean. Communication with the owner was excellent. Nice towels and good shower. Charming and historic details. In fact i wish the owners provided information about the history of this sweet little place. Be aware that the kitchen is a kitchenette and although listed as having an oven it only has a toaster oven. We had planned on cooking to prepare for a family gathering so this caused us to have to alter our plans.

Cute place right in downtown
Publié le 2 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayI loved the location of the property! We were able to walk into the historical district every day to look around or get something to eat. There was also a little path behind the cabin where we could see the river. There were complimentary snacks and poop bags for the dogs. I also liked how the door would lock automatically. The only downside was that the place was much smaller than we initially thought and some furniture and appliances were a little outdated. Overall, it was a lovely stay and the property managers were very nice.
