Family get away
Publié le 1 août 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat place to relax! Many things to do and see. We took advantage of the kayaks to explore the lake. The chalet is cozy and with all the things needed! Would highly recommend!

Nice time, steamy weather
Publié le 29 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayNice private setting. The weather was hot and sticky, so it would have been nice to get out on the lake. However, there were a lot of weeds and lily pads that made using the kayaks more challenging than we were used to.

Beautiful and quiet getaway

A perfect MN summer getaway!
Publié le 23 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWhat a great experience at this VRBO! The space was even better outfitted than advertised. Tons of spices, paper towels, toilet paper, beach towels, life jackets, games, puzzles, etc. and the owner gave us awesome and thoughtful snacks upon arrival! The property is quiet and cozy and well decorated! They had a high chair and pack n play but we did bring our own before knowing that.
There isn’t an AC unit in the 2nd main level bedroom but luckily the temps stayed pretty comfortable overnight. With the air quality and some allergies in the family we can’t always open windows but this wasn’t a deal breaker! It was still cozy and wonderful. The loft is super fun and would’ve been amazing for a rainy day. The lake is a little weedy which we didn’t mind with taking kayaks and paddle boat out.
I would definitely recommend this location for future renters! And take a drive into Park Rapids for “Dads 1/2 way there” take and bake pizzas for a fun meal when you get tired of grilling! 5 out of 5 stars. Thanks for hosting us!!
