Hotel is in a horrible condition. When it rains the room are flooded. Rugs are filthy and full of stains. Pillows are smelly and full of stains. I woke up one morning to find a dead bat in the room. The rooms smell like mould, bathrooms are very nasty with dirt between tile, when taking a shower water does not drain. Several nights of power outage with no standby generator, room became very hot and humid. This hotel needs to be closed. Staff members were very nice and helpful. Ambrosa restaurant was clean and food was good.

The staff is great. Unfortunately they are limited by leadership presence or resources ??? Spent 3 days...3 different rooms and all 3 showers pooled water when showering (dirty). Similarly, there are reviews of the same issue dating back to 2019 so apparently this is NOT fixed in 2024. The linens in one room had blood stains upon our check in. One room was missing towels but this was quickly resolved when we requested. The bathmath in one was stained or just dirty. Another room also, upon check in had sticky stuff on the floor but this was quickly addressed by housekeeping. Overall, the staff is very friendly from the front desk, to the pool side bar, restaurant and breakfast area so a big kudos to them. If I had to pick one of the issues highlighted to fix, it would have to be the bathroom plumbing because it is gross ro stand in 2 inches of water while showing. It is unhygienic.
