amenagement interieur plutot froid, a caractere industriel. Dejeuners corrects et personnel salle a manger attentif. Bien situe, pres du Whaling Museum.Stationnement gratuit disponible a proximite.

I found it "different" that in 2024 not to have a tv in the room. Parking is on the street or 3 blocks away!
Went to breakfast at 7:45 - there was none until someone rushed in say someone went home sick (Which I didn't believe) & later it was a 'miss communication'. the danish was cold, the micro didn't work, coffee?
Obviousls I made a bad 'where to stay' decision.

Checkin was "ok" - person talking with friends.
Really surprised that in 2024 there was no tv.
Go to breakfast at 7;45 - none. person came in said someone went home sick - which I do not believe and later mentioned miss communicaion.
Parking - another story.
Let's just say we won't be returning. I made a poor stay selection.

My third time here and probably the best. The city appears to have finished the sidewalk and street upgrades and looks much better. There are several dining options in the area which is very walkable. There’s plenty of whaling history in this old section of town. The hotel is a converted building but is very clean and not in your modern conventional style of hotel. There’s a bar on the ground floor with several tv’s. They do offer a limited free breakfast of coffee, pastries, cereal, juices, and bagels. This is an improvement that was lacking before. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and accommodating.
