The stairs were narrow which would be fine if there was a better railing to hang onto. Too pricey for what was offered. No river view. The free tubing was really nice. Staff incredible!

While the view of the river can't be seen from inside the room, it is visible from the decks of all cabins except Cabin 19, which still has a view of the beautiful Hill Country. Publié le 12 juill. 2024 sur HotelsIt was so beautiful there! Very quiet and private. The cabin we chose was a little walk from the car with our luggage but well worth it! The copper tub was so wonderful and I couldn’t get enough of the shower! The high flow and high pressure was so relaxing!

So peaceful and beautiful! Second time staying here and both times we loved it! The porch with the river view was amazing!

Very nice grounds but inside the room not so much. Overall the place felt dingy. First impression was a smell of sweat when we opened the door. The towels also had the same smell. To top it off, one of the two beds had bed bugs, the next morning bug bites all over exposed skin. There seemed to be blood spots on two of the pillowcases. Mattresses and pillows were not the best either. The bathroom wall had holes, one from the door not having a door stop. Overall, the property does not seem to be well maintained and housekeeping not the best either. Finally, no spot lights on the property entrance to show the name or entrance to facilitate finding the place at night.

Customer service and cleanliness are both top priorities for our business and it is extremely disappointing that we seem to have missed the mark during your stay. We wish we would’ve been notified while you were here regarding any issues you were having so we could’ve immediately remedied them. All of the cabins recently underwent a complete interior remodel which included painting the walls. While we updated them to a more modern look, we also wanted to keep some of the rustic integrity which included the natural knot holes in the wood. Our pest control professional is at the property monthly and along with spraying the interior and exterior of all the cabins, he also completes inspections and preventative maintenance for all pests, which includes bed bugs. This accusation is not something we take lightly and we were never made aware of any pest issues until seeing this review. We have since thoroughly inspected the cabin and have found no signs. With the increased rain, mosquitoes have been more prevalent and chiggers can also be an issue if you walked through any brush while tubing. Again, we apologize for any issues you experienced and will address your concerns with the appropriate departments.
