Additional Details:

The Game Room is a versatile 900 square foot area that can be used for entertaining or extra sleep space. It has a sink/bar area, refrigerator, and full bathroom, as well as a Queen Bed.

Sleeping areas include a king bedroom downstairs, a queen bedroom downstairs and a full bath in that hallway. A king bedroom upstairs with a full bath, and a large dorm style room with 6 twin beds. The dorm room is spacious and over looks the swimming pool. All beds have pillow top mattresses and all pillows and linens are included.

Perfect for large families!
The main house provided plenty of room for 4 adults and 7 kids. The dorm room with 6 twin beds was a hit with the younger kids! The gazebo covered patio was relaxing and offered a beautiful view, and the large pool was wonderful! The guest cottage was a short walk from the main house, and offered a quiet retreat. We would definitely stay again.

Canyon Lake Staycation
Best part of this home was the location. Home sits on top of the hill in a gated/fenced quiet location(private). We were 20 people and rented both homes and amenities were excellent. It has volley ball court, swimming pool , two hot tubs and firepit. There are no flood lights on volleyball court if you intend to play at night. There are multiple refrigerators to store food if you plan to stay longer. Host did some fireworks on new years eve and we all were invited. Correspondence was quick. Property needs some renovations. There are no locks for common bathrooms. Gameroom which 6 beds does not have a door.

Great house!
We came for my fiancé and I’s joint bachelor/bachelorette party and it was the perfect house. It accommodated everyone perfectly. The beds were so comfortable and everyone slept great. We really enjoyed our stay. Berlin, the owner, was so sweet. She made sure we were taken care of and had great communications. The cows were really friendly and ate out of my hand a couple of times. My only suggestion is to have bigger trash cans. We went through SO many trash bags and ended up running out and used tiny bags that my brother in law had in his truck. LOL.

Family Time!
My family had a great time together and there was enough space for everyone to retire to their own rooms. Four generations with grandmothers in the main house bottom rooms and then all the other family groups spread out upstairs and at the bungalow. We all had a stress free, fun time together. Loved watching the longhorns and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Host was very responsive to needs!

Gorgeous location, beautiful pool, plenty of room for everyone. The bungalow was down a short road from the pool house, but it worked out well for the family members who don’t have kids. They were able to sleep in and have their own quiet space. The whole place was the cleanest vacation rental I’ve stayed at. Kitchen is well-stocked, and having multiple refrigerators for our group was great. The scenery is stunning, and the host is welcoming and informative. We got a kick out of seeing the longhorns up close. The weather cooperated, and we spent an evening at the fire pit making s’mores. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect for families
This was such a beautiful and peaceful place for a family get together. The kids loved the pool and the walks, including wildlife and farm animals. The houses were big enough for all us and clean. They even smell good. Definitely a place to revisit next time we're in Texas.

Amazing stay
We came from Austin, Chicago and New York. There were four generations staying here and we all had a wonderful time. The homes and grounds were perfect for our crew. we all enjoyed the pool, the hikes, the scenery, the play areas. the longhorns and pigs visiting us were just amazing, a true Texan experience. Awesome place for like a 20 person wedding.
Great views! Really nice land owner! This place has 2 houses, plenty parking and a large pool with hot tub. Also, we enjoyed the longhorns on the property. The houses have everything you need down to towels, utencils etc. I also liked having the kitchenette in the gameroom. This place took the stress of a wedding off of everyone, because it was more like an enjoyable vacation.

Wonderful Annual Family Trip
This was our annual family trip and we had a great time. The pool was so refreshing and plenty big for us to have a great time playing water volleyball. This place was outstanding. Plenty of parking, room, hiking, animals and just plain FUN "20 Acres". We spent time on Canyon Lake and had several stay and enjoy the pool "Clean and Beautiful Pool, Hot tub was even better for later in the evening". It was so peaceful. Everything was clean and worked well. Berlin was very responsive. During our stay we only ran into our ability to correctly operate the Hot Tub "the heat". However Berlin Very Nice Manager/owner quickly responded and had Her Pool Folks get us on track immediately. Thank you so much to Dylan (the pool guy) and Thank you to Berlin for such a WONDERFUL stay.

Secluded getaway
The location and amenities were just what our family wanted for our yearly getaway. Our grandkids thoroughly enjoyed the pool, game room, animals and even sunsets at the point. It was spacious and plenty of room for our family of 11. The hosts were excellent and attentive, even coming and mopping when the regular cleaning service was not available. The only drawback is the house is showing it’s age and needs some updating and deep cleaning.

A NICE AREA, THE HOUSE LESS SO
We liked the location of the property and the set-up with the main house and the bungalow. The kitchen was too small for our family. Dining area furniture was old and rickety. Trash cans and disposal were totally inadequate for 20 people. Lighting in game room was mostly inoperative. While things were clean, the building and pool were old. The pool needed constant attention. But the good news was the owners were right up the road and came down when needed. Sink drains were slow meaning they were clogged over a long period. The worst part was a portion of the ceiling over the dining table collapsed when the A/C condensation drain plugged up with ants. It leaked onto the ceiling which then collapsed. Fortunately, no one was sitting there at the time. The owners came down immediately and did a repair that got us through departure. The owner said he'd "make things right." But I don't know what that that meant. I haven't heard from him. In summary? I would not return to this property.
