Beautiful Beach House
Publié le 28 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had an amazing stay at this stunning beach house! The deck offered spectacular views and tide watching was fantastic. Beach combing was a thrill, and it had everything needed for an ocean vacation. Plus, it's only minutes from historic Saint Andrews-by-the-Sea with its restaurants, market square, and shops.

It was spacious, bright and quiet, kitchen well supplied, there was lots of hot water, easy access to the beach. The most amazing thing was the huge deck overlooking the water! We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and will be back!

Awesome quiet location

Isolated, very quiet, a few meters from the Ste-Croix river which had a lot of wildlife like starfish, urchins, crabs, deers, porcupine, fox and many different birds. The unit itself was very clean with a lot of space for everyone (we were five adults). The patio is very roomy as well. Owner is very responsive

Amazing view

This is a lovely place. Very nice house with an amazing view and beach. But clearly it is not being kept up. The bushes are so over grown it obstructs almost all the water view. What we came there for. No umbrella on the deck for the sun. Barbecue was in poor shape. We loved our stay. Just not as advertised. Must have been written a long time ago as clearly the grounds need some TLC

Beautiful waterfront get away

We could get up in the morning and have coffee on the amazing deck and watch the sunrise, and stop for take out and eat on the deck and watch the sun go down. Walking along the beach at low tide was a highlight as well! We saw deer and a fox as well as lots of birds. It was a perfect time! Hope to be able to rent again.

Perfect, peaceful spot on the St. Croix River
Publié le 18 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayAmazing deck made this stay just perfect. Beach access to the river was wonderful to explore and look for sea glass during low tides. Very private 1/2 mile driveway off the main road down to the watwer also made for nice walks with a bit of a challenge as you reach the top of the driveway.
Comfortable home that was beautifully decorated with lovely gardens outside. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Note: Vrbo listing lists a hot tub in the amenities. There was no hot tub, though it does look like there may have been one at one time.

Relaxing Retreat!
Publié le 1 août 2023 sur HomeAwayOverall, it was very homey plus a few surprises like freezies in the ice box and side by side recliner chairs for TV viewing. Great view from the spacious deck. Suggestions would be air conditioning and outside umbrellas for shade. Chipmunks wrestling was entertaining! Would recommend to others.
