Great house!

We wish we could add a bigger dining table but then it would cut down on the living room space, we think people might want to hang out on the couch more. In the summer we encourage our guests to eat on our beautiful deck :)

Nice Lakehouse Stay
Publié le 10 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayOur group of 2 couples enjoyed our week in the Hudson Valley area. We all commented on the excellent beds and pillows, the view of the lake from the house and the quiet of the neighborhood. Would stay here again.

Gilmore Mother Daughter Weekend
Publié le 20 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayOur stay was lovely and the property was everything we needed for a perfect Gilmore themed weekend getaway! We loved the house and all the accommodations- the fire pit was the perfect cherry on top for our final evening in Connecticut. We saw shooting stars!
We really enjoyed the kayaks on the lake. While it was laborious to get them down the hill and back up again, it was well worth the effort with the perfect weather we experienced this weekend!

Relaxing stay
Publié le 11 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property had everything we needed for a relaxing stay and the property manager and cleaning crew were wonderful.
Our family enjoys being outdoors and the surrounding area offered wonderful hiking options that we explored.
The location was convenient to downtown if any supplies were needed.
We were fortunate to have lovely weather so we took advantage of relaxing on the deck with a scenic view of Squantz pond.
Overall a great experience, the only slight negative, as others have noted, is that the bed on the main floor is not comfortable due to being saggy.
It would not deter us from returning, we had a great time.

So much potential

The outside of the property was COVERED in spider webs and the deck (which looked pristine in the photos) was very dilapidated with the stain chipping everywhere and cushions dirty. We found 2 joints on the table. Inside we could tell was just cleaned, but unfortunately most of the kitchenware was dirty in the cabinets. Thankfully the location with pond views was so great that we still overall enjoyed our stay.

We sincerely appreciate your feedback. Following a fun/sunny packed summer, our deck is well loved and will need to be sanded and painted to revamp it! we close our property every year at the end of the season to do this and will be doing this in the next week, as always. Spiders have been crazy this season and both our cleaning and landscaper teams have tackled them head on but believe me when I say they are right back up overnight. We will see if we can fumigate .. We accept guests of all hobbies and we apologize for anything left behind, we will make sure our cleaning team is aware of all the areas mentioned, they're an amazing team and we are confident they'll understand what needs to be improved. thank you!
