Not completely as expected.

Baths and bedrooms very clean. Plenty of charging ports.
Terrible mold and mildew smell in lower level.
Number of hazards noted, handrail missing on stairs, no lights on outdoor stairway, thermostat access by leaning over the stairs.
The property needs a good deep cleaning.

Beautiful cove location!
Posted Aug. 6, 2023 on HomeAwayPerfect location for families with young children and pets to play in the water with limited boat traffic. Great yard with patios and fire pit for relaxing. Property manager was very responsive and great to work with. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for the great vacation memories!

Not so relaxing...
Posted May 29, 2023 on HomeAwayWe stayed for 2 nights over the Memorial Day weekend. The lake house was clean and comfortable. We rented kayaks from Candlewood kayak rental ($100/day incl. free delivery and pick up).
As mentioned in another review, the next door neighbor has 5 dogs that barked incessantly whenever we were outside or on the porch, with or without our dog. They also barked at every passing boats, etc. so we were constantly hearing them. There is a fence between the neighbor and this property but one of the dogs jumped over the fence and frightened us and our dog. We could not enjoy the outdoor amenities (outdoor seating, grill, fire pit) at all for this reason. It’s very unfortunate (and not this owner’s fault) because there are few dog friendly rentals on this lake. The lake is narrow at this location and the road noise from across the water was constant. Probably not an issue during a week, but I do think people should be aware.

Weekend fishing trip

Nice respite with lovely view
Posted Oct. 29, 2022 on HomeAwayOverall we had a nice stay. The leaves were in full color change so the view was spectacular. It rained unfortunately so we really maxized relaxation, the screened in porch and the tv channels!
Nicely appointed kitchen with all the equipment needed.
Bedrooms were nicely sized and comfortable!
Only thing that visitors with dogs might want to be aware of is were the house next door have a lot of barking dogs, and one did get loose one day when we were walking our dog in the side yard. When the neighbor dogs were out in their large backyard, they barked very aggressive toward our dog.

Peaceful, beautiful cottage on the lake
