Ants, moths, mildew, old AC’s and non functional TV’s house.

First impression of house photo online looked nice. But when we arrived we saw mildew all over the house and property. Screened in porch had moths, spiders, cobwebs and other bugs all over and looked like it hadn’t been painted for sometime to include the house. Interior looked somewhat updated, couldn’t get TV’s to function at all and couch seats sunk so much you had to pull yourself out. The so called vegetable gardens were all weeds with broken wire fencing. Whoever owns the property certainly doesn’t take care of it!

Disappointing & Frustrating,

Woke up on Saturday morning to no hot and cold water. Family needed to shower to attend a family gathering at 10AM. Family also could not use the toilets. We sent a text message at 8:05AM and did not receive an until 3:26PM. Entire family had to attend the family event without showering. I had to return to the property twice to check if the water issue had been resolved. Entire family unhappy and will never stay at this property again. We believe we should be refunded a portion of our rental charge for our inconvenience.

Decent house for 6 -8

I didn’t look close at the on-line pics so at first arrival I had concerns. It’s a charming older style lake house that could use a bit of pampering but it was very clean and comfortable for our group of 8. The host and management company were great and easy to communicate with. We came up for our daughter’s wedding and we all had a very nice weekend. Thank you

Wedding Retreat

This location was our home away from home at our son's wedding. It was perfectly situated near the venue, had many nice bedrooms for family to sleep in, and a lovely porch for relaxing during the in between moments of the weekend.

Not as advertised

This property was dirty! As soon as we arrived we were met with an overgrown yard, molded screens of the porch, trash in the yard and dead insects the bedding. That being said; the property has great potential. It’s large and in a great location. It needs to be maintained better and cleaned properly. It is very neglected.

Excellent Lake Retreat for Groups

At the time of booking, there were no reviews for this property. My group and I took the chance, and we're happy we did. The space accommodated our group (8) nicely. The home had nearly all the cooking amenities we needed (dishes, pots, pans). The proximity to hiking trails and the ground of the property were both perks as well. Overall, the home was a great find at a reasonable price. My only feedback includes that the beds (with the exception of the master bedroom) were very hard/firm, we needed to purchase additional cleaning supplies, and we did not know where to put the trash until 2-3 days into the booking (it's near the garage but we didn't notice the sign).
