Really loved this property, had more of a BNB than expected but did not mind one bit. The location is amazing and a great place to use as a base to explore the Catlins. We would have loved to stay extra nights and will be back again. The bathroom being carpeted was a bit weird.

Cosy Cottage By the Sea
Publié le 21 avr. 2021 sur HotelsWe loved our stay here. It was cosy and felt like we were in a beachside NZ Bach. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were really lovely and we were thrilled to see sealions on the beach. Superb remote and beautiful location.

Great getaway

A night in Surat Bay
Publié le 13 sept. 2020 sur HotelsWe wanted to find a quiet retreat on our trip across the Catlins and chose Surat Bay. We booked only a few nights earlier and of the two cottages, we booked the one with the larger bed. Checkin was easy, the room was warm and the bed comfy. Breakfast was included and there was a lovely array of eggs, cereal, toast and spreads.
We were lucky enough to walk along the beach and find a sea lion sleeping on the sand.
