Cozy Apartment Getaway
Posted Oct. 29, 2024 on HomeAwayMy wife and I stayed here on October 18-22, 2024 for our ninth year wedding anniversary. This cozy little apartment was a perfect fit for us, and was in a beautiful country setting! The apartment was within a very reasonable distance to all of our points of interest in the Lancaster area. The apartment was very clean and tidy, and everything we could have needed was supplied, including a nice little welcome basket of snacks, chips, and delicious popcorn from a local Amish business. We were greeted a few times throughout our stay by the host, Steve and his beautiful Golden Retriever. Inside, a book of house rules was provided including check-in and check-out instructions. My wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would consider staying here again. We would definitely recommend it to anyone!
PS: Upon arriving home from our stay, I was surprised with a text from Steve, informing me that we had inadvertently left our camera battery and charger plugged into the one outlet. He was very accommodating to take our address and send it to us in the mail, which we received in a few short days. Much appreciated! Thanks, Steve!

Annual Sister Weekend
Posted Oct. 9, 2023 on HomeAwayOur hosts were very helpful. They gave places to see, places to eat, were available for anything we had questions about. Nice people!
The place was cozy & cute - just what we were looking for. Located around several places to visit. The Artisan Village had different shops, people were very helpful giving us ideas where to go & what to see. Of course, we wished we could have stayed longer!!! But reality is a rude awakening. Back to work.

A little slice of heaven

We absolutely love the New Holland/Lancaster area as it offer peace and beautiful countryside( not to mention great food). We relaxed by the pool, hearing the sound of horses trotting down the road. The scenery is stunning and Lapp Valley Farm right down the road has the best homemade ice cream that is out of this world. Steve *& Demi's home is warm and welcoming, and the rental is fully equiped and super clean. Truly a great place to stay if visiting the area. We will definatley be back again!
