Beautiful cottage

Historical and quaint

It's far enough from downtown to be very quiet and peaceful, but close enough to get to restaurants in 5 minutes. The owner had great recommendations for restaurants and things to see. The area was beautiful! I just wish we had direct a free more days here!

Extended weekend getaway

The property was quaint and charming. The location was nice and secluded but with access to all the amenities we wanted, and Eleanor and Kurt were wonderful hosts.

Perfect for personal reset

I have a dust allergy and Kurt and Eleanor were kind enough to provide an air filter to enhance my comfort. Kurt showed me some awesome family heirlooms and shared the history of the property, which is fascinating. I was able to easily walk on my own down the canal tow path into town, explore, and head back with no trouble. If you want a quiet getaway to yourself, this is it!
