Exceptionnel!!
Publié le 17 mars 2020 sur HomeAwayPatty est une hôte extraordinaire !!! tout était au delà de nos attentes, de la réservation à l'accueil sur le site tout était parfait. Les petites attentions à chaque coin de la maison sans oublier la bouteille de mousseux au frais en arrivant ;-) La maison est très bien équipée et d'une propreté remarquable. Vous ne manquerez de rien. Patty a pensé à tout même à ce que vous n'espériez pas!! Les kayaks, les gilets de sauvetage, les jeux extérieurs... mais aussi l'équipement intérieur! Je ne peux que recommander vivement cette propriété : vous ne serez pas déçus.

Getaway along the bayou

If ever back in that area would for sure stay again and would definitely recommend. Patty the host, was fantastic throughout the booking process and our stay!! Thank you!

Don't miss this gem! Better than the Pictures.
Publié le 4 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayA wonderful blend of original hardwood floors combined with fully modern kitchen and bath. Lots of windows, lovely fireplace, comfy furniture and bed - and I just used the main floor only! More room in a loft-style upstairs. The main bed was very good with lots of pillows and extra bedding. Walkin closet loaded with extras. The bathroom had a welcoming deep soaker tub and large tile shower - both were excellent!
Stunning front and back balconies overlooking beautiful, green community on one side and a calm stunning bayou on the other - you can kayak right out your back door. There's also a patio on the bayou with comfy outdoor chairs and tables - saw birds, flying fish, etc. right off the patio.
I've never seen so many extras for guests!! Spices, food, coffee and tea station, marshmallows and hot chocolate, snacks - the list goes on in addition to cleaning supplies, shampoo, body wash, conditioner - truly went above and beyond a standard rental. The owner even offered to drop off bath bombs because she forgot to leave some in the bathroom!
I was impressed by this home (by the way, there's also a mechanical lift for hauling things into the home if you don't want to use the stairs).
Location: keep in mind it's a slightly rural area and unfortunately there was a storm in June causing damage to Rip Van Winkle gardens so they were closed. But visits to New Iberia, Tabasco factory, jungle gardens, Lafayette, and Cajun Country Swamp Tours were great!
