Although the property was in rough shape, the room was clean. Did not ask for a efficiency unit (which they squeezed into a regular room), with full size fridge, stove, etc. Pillows were half size square pillows, which I have never seen in a hotel, and only 4 (equivalent of 2 standard). When we ask for additional, they said housekeeping was closed. Next day when we ask for additional, we were told yes, they never arrived. Very unprofessional staff and VERY CASUAL appearance. Over-all, price probably fit the venue. I worked in this hotel 40 years ago, it has gone WAAAAYYYY down hill.

The concierge was very un professional. He was half sleep when he finally greeted us after waiting in the front for 5 minutes. He gave me a room that smelled like a carton of cigarettes. I couldn’t stay in there. The ice machine was broken,vending machine was broken,side door was broken. Felt unsafe.

The hotel staff was not friendly, the hotel was completely run down and in dire need of upkeep and repairs. Although the room appeared to be clean, there was a horrible oder in the room. It smelled like ammonia, but we aren't sure what the smell actually was or what caused it. Thank goodness I always travel with a bottle of Poopourri. I would imagine the smell had something to do with the dampness of the room. I would not walk on the carpet because it felt damp as did the bedding. I will not stay in this location again and would not recommend it.

The room itself was average and clean; however, the property was a bit of a mess. The lawn was overgrown, there was trash all through the grass, there was only one ice machine on the opposite end of the property, the lights in the pool would not turn on, the hallway lights were dim if working at all. The building was in the midst of being painted so there was paper/trash around the building, and the building was not secure (no key access at side doors). There was also no elevator, and laundry was not in service. The breakfast was average and the staff was polite, but the overall stay was disappointing.

When we arrived, They did not have the king bed that we booked. There was no discount or apology for the issue. On our way to the room there was a large planting indoors with dead plants and trash in it. Our room was Damp and had a horrible smell that you could taste! We were shown a second room that Smelt like an ash tray. The employee that showed us the room said they had to kick people out the night before for smoking in the room! We declined to stay there

The hotel was in need of repairs. There was no security to the outer door which did not lock. The gym advertised was not open and door or security permanently inoperable. Light wise the pool lights were off and no way to enter. Shower needs holders for soap or liquid dispensers. Staff in evening not readily available perhaps only one on call. Had to wait and find them.

The phrase"exceeded my expectations" is tossed around constantly. Very seldom does it happen. This motel, and specifically this room were the exception for me. I was looking for a room with some size and some kitchen options. This room has it all. A true efficiency, this room has a kitchen sink, a large microvave, a full size flat top electric stove

The outside and area of hotel was a bit worn down and strange people around but once you get into hotel it is fine and average overall. We were given an option to upgrade room to be on first floor since no elevator there - the “upgraded” room was a kitchenette too and had a strange smell and appliances were not that clean so we changed back to the other room which was fine and we were satisfied with it . Overall average hotel.
