OMG Mr. Brown, you made our day!Thx so v much cuz all we see are negative reviews! We only had couple of complaints out of 50 Ck outs,mainly abt AC units, cuz it is 95F outside, so how much an AC can take! Thx again for 10 out of 10 stars. Also the for giving us oppertunity to serve your lodging needs. We were full last N, not a single rm available. We had to stop Expedia n BDC not to send any more reservation. We' ll see you again next year for the festival n also serve your lodging needs!

Horrible Place

We did not stay here - we could not. It was not safe to stay at this hotel. We did book two rooms. We arrived and were told the ac had just been turned on. Be patient and the rooms would cool down. After an hour, we checked again because no cool air was coming out of either ac unit. Again we were told to be patient. We went out to dinner. We returned and the room my 80 year parents were in was hotter than before. I again checked with the front off and got a fan. By 9pm the temp in their room was a muggy 80plus degrees. Mine room was not much different. We had to leave. We were not offered a refund because we did not give them a chance to fix the problem. I am not sure why no one took the opportunity the three times went to the front desk to ask for help. The place is falling apart. It is not clean the carpets are disgusting. The bedding and everything is old. The front staff is nice but not empowered or able to help. Do not waste your money here.

We appologgze for your less than satisfactory stay, especially your 80 yrs parents! We "really" feel bad, hope you have a heart to forgive us. We are sorry!Regarding the refund mam, you came thru Expedia, it is the first line on their site BEFORE you get to the reservation screen, that the booking is NON REFUNDABLE, nothing we could do, Expedia has already deducted the price you agreed upon when you made the reservation, from your cc.You paid to Expedia NOT to us, and they have no Refund policy. Sorry again!You were supposed to ck out any way in the morning, you left abt 11:30 pm so can get home early, that is what we thought, cuz you never came to fd, or turn in your keys or letting us know that you are leaving. We came to know from Expedia that you left at 1130pm. We could have switched your rooms w/ any incoming rooms, Expedia is right that you gave us no notice and no chance to fix the problem if any, You just left n called Expedia abt 11:30pm, we had no idea before that you are leaving or left already or we could have rectified the situation.With all due respect mam, you knew how this hotel is, Expedia is v fair n honest to tell all upfront n also gave you choices abt other hotels in the toemwn n their prices so you can make an educated decision telling it is not a new hotel which are charging 239 and 219 per N, we got only 77.45 per N from you.( times, 2 rooms). You chose us becoz we are the best value in the town for each of your dollar, w/ all amenities incl. indoor swimming pool n free continental breakfast, nice n courteous staff.Carpets are not dirty, we shampoo them v frequentl but mam this is not a new hotel, these carpets have been used over n over, but you rather save over 200 per N for 2 rms or walk on a new carpet. YOU did it right when you skipped newer hotels w/ new carpets, to walk on, in our opinion. Also man nothing falling apart or we would not have sold out n booked solid, if that was the case. Yes mam beds are not new either but that are clean n comfortabe, don't have to be new but that saved you hundreds of dollars. It was 95F yest, so to cool the room down quickly was impossible. Not a good advice for ppl who want to save to tell them, not to waste their nor you did! No matter what mam, we appologize unconditionally for your unpleasant experience. Sorry!

Mr. Clyde, you never mentioned why you gave us one star. So we can improve the deficiency, you encountered, if any! The only thing we can think of is that we made you to produce id's of all occupants, required by local law enforcement as well as by Expedia. Second thing was to ask you to provide tag/ plate # of your vehicle so we can register it on our private property and it should not get towed away w/ our contracted towing company. There is no 3rd thing we can think of. You and 3 of your crew members were walking out the door when we asked you how is your room because you didn't answer the Courtesy call , you said in front of all 3 witnesses that, " every thing is perfect but the door latch to be looked at". Is that right Mr. Clyde? Your other room did answer the Courtesy call saying " all ok". Then where this 1 star came from besides the 2 reasons we suspect, mentioned above. We can not get out of those 2 requirements, whether you like it or not. We even allowed one of your crew member to swim in the pool, even if it was officially closed, and he was VERY much appreciative. We talked to a 9M old baby, telling parents of your crew how cute he was n looking every where. No complaints from any of you during your 1N stay. You never came to ck out nor signed your folios, rather called to be emailed to you, which we did. There is absolutely nothing wrong we did to you or to your crew, or any thing wrong in the rooms but you still gave us 1star w/o telling what went wrong! This is just appalling n mind blowing! We apologize for that any way if we didn't meet your expectations! Sorry!

Pool was shut down and had been for months without telling anyone until after check in. Room was dirty and outside of doors to hotel all the way around that are supposed to be opened by key card had all the latches taped so they never locked

Sorry Steven that your 4N stay w/ us was less than expected. We'll do better next time n try to meet your expectations.However Steven, we want to clarify the complaints you mentioned. You checked in 3:00 pm on 28th of May, we made the courtesy call at 3:15 giving you enough time to ck your room v well, n asked you if EVERYTHING ok in your room? Your answer was " seems to be all fine to me". Are these your words Steven cuz if it was dirty you were not going to say that? Then you had DND at your for for the entire stay, every day so if the room was dirty then why you didn't let us come n clean for 4 days?? We cleaned it after you checked out today, of course you left room as a trash, we didn't charge you excessive cleaning fee as a courtesy, which we should have, thinking what we expect if guest won't let us clean his room for 4 days, so called" dirty" room!Secondly Steven pls go to Expedia one more time on our site n read under " RENOVATIONS AND CLOSURES". See very first line which says clealy, "swimming pool is closed". So we did our job to inform the guests upfront BEFORE they make reservations.Moreover Steve, if room was not up to your satisfaction, then why did you stay for 4days there 5/28 till 5/31, with c/o on 6/1, you didn't even come to sign your folio,n get a copyof the folio n return your keys n file any complaint, but you rather put it on Expedia site instead of telling us if any thing was wrong during your stay! We could have change your room in a hearty beat, at 3:15 pm on 5/28, when we called to see if all ok, but you didn't say anything wrong, rather said" all looks fine to me", but now after getting home thanked us for our services by saying " room was dirty" then why you stayed that long there n didn't let us clean your room for a single day during the entire stay?BTW...you see v last review above your review from Mr. Eddy, he stayed in the same room for 4 days w/ his kids. He left n you came. He gave us 4/5 stars. Before that Mr. Jones stayed in the same room for 3 weeks, was VERY happy w/ this room, renovating Arby's.wuth crew in 3 other rooms.However only you found it dirty!Also Steven, Holiday in 5min drive has a pool, only 5yrs old, but charges 189+tax per N, minimum but all we got from you is 77.49+tax per N maximum. NowRegarding entrance door locks, Steven, they are Onity/ Tessa locks. The only ppl who can repair are in GA n no body in eastern coast but them. If You can find someone , pls let us know cuz we can't find any one any where but in GA. Sorry Steven for all that, you probably will not come here next time n will exercise the 2nd option we mentioned w/ 189+tax perN!

We had a mountain view and great veiw of the Ohio river. The heater in the pool was not working so we couldnt go swimming but the staff was great

Hope to get it fixed when you visit us next time all the way from NC(10hr drive!)Your year apart children lighted up our quiet hallways n put.a life in them, so wel behaved kids that you n your wife can certainly be proud of! Thanks Ms. Davis for your 3 stars out of 5 stars. Wandering where we lost 2 stars? You asked for extra 3 sets of towels, we provided, you couldn’t find TV remote we provided the help, you had 4 adults in your room even if you checked only 2 adults when paying price. The only thing we can think of that you asked for baby milk which we didn’t carry but disabled to walking to close convenience store. We are sorry that we couldn’t reach to your full satisfaction. Hope next time will do better and get 5 out of 5 stars.

Thx so much Mr/Ms anonymous for giving us 10 out of 10, v much appreciated! Yes it is not a brand new hotel but we provide each n every thing a name brand would provide except the hot BF, which we have permit only for continental BF.We do have McD at the adjacent property as well as Bob Evans, where hot Breakfast is always available, and everything else as well. Also a Chinese resturant n subway and a convenience store w/ hot, hot dogs of all kinds, on the rolling grill, at the walking distance, which is an adjacent parking lot.Yes price is unbeatable, 2 Nights here equal to one Night in other 2 hotels.See you again, and thanks again!

Overall it was a clean hotel very friendly and helpful staff but the pool and hot tub didn’t work and I don’t call a thermos of coffee and Walmart pop tarts contanental breakfast

Thanks for the review of your stay with us Mr. Shaffer. Sorry pool and spa were closed because of Maintenance, waiting for the parts for the pool heater, spa we are painting. Mr. Shaffer we don’t have a permit to serve hot breakfast. It is only continental which includes Donuts, Muffins, Honey Buns, Cakes, Cookies, and Crackers, Pop tarts, Oatmeal, and fresh fruit. Wandering why you noticed just coffee maker and pop tarts. We keep replenishing them during breakfast hours if run out. We apologize for not meeting your expectations regarding breakfast, and pool and spa. Thanks so very much for giving us 4/5 points. Very much appreciated.
