New Forest cliff top apartment
Publié le 23 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayVery nice property in a lovely location close to all amenities and seafront. It was clean and cosy which made for a lovely break away. The only thing that would have improved the stay would have been a fridge freezer or freezer compartment in the fridge. Apart from that we would give 10 out of 10 for the property.

Long weekend

The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had all the equipment to make basic meals if needed. There are plenty of good café, pubs and restaurants locally.
Only minor niggle, was having to provide towels.

Ideal location

Had everything we needed.
No secure garden for the dog, so always had to be on a lead, very noisy neighbours both above and to the side. TV remote had a mind of its own, changed volume when changing channels, increased volume when pressing to reduce the volume.
The bedding was a massive problem for us. It was 100% polyester and just stuck to us like velcro!! Cotton bedding is a must!

We're glad you liked the location and apartment Claire and had a good holiday. To respond to some of the points your raised. We are always reviewing and renewing our bed linen and have several sorts in use we will certainly bear in mind your thoughts on that set.
We're sorry you found you had noisy neighbours for your stay The apartment next door is also currently a holiday let so guests change regularly like they do with us so it's is unlikely to normally cause anyone a problem. An older couple live above, they must have had their grandchildren across or something when you were there at a guess!
We have been to the apartment and checked the TV remote since you reported this issue and try as we might we have not been able to replicate the problem you had. We're pleased to report the remote is working completely correctly as it should be currently. We wondered if accidentally you may have been pressing two buttons at once.
