The food was horrible, and they didnt have elevators. The gentlemen at front desk at night, was rude as hell and was unhelpful. I cant rememver his name, but he was a tall black guy. The tv barely had any channels. These were the cons. Most of the staff was on point. Rooms was clean as far as i could tell. And the beds were somewhat comfy. These were the pros.

Spent the night before getting on a cruise. The room was ok for what we needed. Only 2 towels that were a bit flimsy. Slight moldy/musty smell. The shower was lovely.

Let us sleep comfortably
This hotel was conveniently located near family for Thanksgiving. The outside was nice & clean, & we were greeted by a friendly front desk clerk. The room was clean, but we could smell a slightly musty smell from the carpet, as if the carpet has been steam cleaned but not dried properly. The ice maker on our floor didn't work, so I had to go find a working one on another floor. Another downside is the shower's water pressure was so low. Breakfast was good, & the dining area was clean & fully stocked. Lastly, the cleaning crew were very loud early each morning. Both mornings we could hear them talking & laughing loudly before 8:00 a.m. I have to get up very early when I'm home for work, so I love to sleep in when I'm on vacation.

I like parking. The mattresses need to be changed they sink into a hole when you lay in them. For the rate you pay, I expect a better night's rest. I stayed there because of the event I was attending. It would definitely not be my choice of hotel otherwise.

the sheets and towels did not smell fresh at all, they almost smelled of urine. we asked the front desk for new linens and they said it was “just the smell of the detergent”. The smoke alarm was also ripped out from the wall.

When we first walked into our room, there was a moldy smell and the carpet was soaking wet. Water was coming out of the air conditioner for who knows how long and the entire room’s carpet was saturated. When asked to switch rooms at the front desk, we were told they were sold out and no other rooms were available. This was unacceptable especially with a spouse who has asthma and allergies!

Overall it was a 4.5 but rounded up! Very spacious room with updated interior. There was a smell when we entered the room but after we turned the air on it went away so maybe it was just some swamp air! The staff were very nice and helpful! The area was great to be able to experience the bayou and its Cajun culture. It was super easy to uber and they had a free onsite parking lot for those who drove. Overall a great stay and will be back for more bayou adventures soon!

The people service is top notch! I would love to interact with every staff member again. But this is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel and it smells sort of damp, and the humidity is so high the linens feels damp.
