You will be in the middle of the Marigny/Bywater buzz, a short 5-6 minute walk to Frenchmen and about a 15 minute stroll to the French Quarter, this central location is an ideal home base for your vacation. You don’t need to go far to discover why this neighborhood is a hidden gem — some of the best bars, restaurants, and art galleries in NOLA are close by.
All guests after booking will receive a list of recommendations including local's favorite spots, restaurants, and activities. We will provide detailed information and guides on the surrounding area to enhance your overall experience.
Getting Around:
The best way to get around is by foot, bike, or Uber. Depending on your stride, the French Quarter is 10-15 minutes walking or a short Uber away. But many, especially locals, prefer to spend time on Frenchman St. (a 5 minute walk) or in local galleries, restaurants, bars, and cafes in the Marigny and Bywater. Walking in this neighborhood is quite safe and common at all hours of the day and night. Use your common sense when coming and going late at night and take a taxi or Uber/Lyft if you are ever in doubt.

–The pool is open and heated from Labor Day through Memorial Day. If you are booking dates bordering these holidays and are interested in having the pool heated, please let us know and we will determine if this request can be accommodated with our winterizing schedule.
