If you want old fashioned classy service, the Monteleone is your hotel. The rooms may be a bit 'shabby chic" in appearance, but they are clean and well equipped. From the moment the doorman opens the door for you (and who still has a doorman?) to the bellman who helps you with your bags to the front desk staff and on and on, only friendly, knowledgeable personnel. If you want to "feel" like you are in NOLA, there is no better place to stay.

This is a great hotel. I talked to the staff and they're very friendly and helpful. From the people at the door, front desk, and the maid services. All great folks. Will definitely be staying again in the future.

This was such a jewel of a hotel. The history, beauty and service were all simply phenomenal. It was also such a joy to be in walking distance to most of the attractions that interested me and my husband while we were celebrating our 22nd Anniversary!
