We told you the freezer was broken but you asked to come anyway bc you had been asked to leave your other place because your kids were so messy they threw you out. We also told you that it was being replaced after your stay but you wanted to come anyway. You are literally the first person to ever complain about darkness. Lastly you left the place a mess. Hopefully you teach your family to be more respectful to the next place. Classic French snobs…we have all 5 star reviews for a reason.

First stay in NOLA
Publié le 1 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayThis was our 2nd house of our road trip in the south of the USA. Very good and warm welcome from our Host Jason. Very nice house with all the necessary amenities for a good stay. Three large beautiful bedrooms. The only downside for us French, we sleep in complete darkness and Jason's house, like 90% of American houses, has no exterior shutters ("window doors") or curtains, just shutters with tilting slats. So the light enters the rooms very early in the morning and, at night, the exterior security lights (in very powerful LEDs) light up very brightly and also make the rooms too bright. The air conditioning system was also a bit noisy when in the living room. So much for the few minor drawbacks. Otherwise very good location (15 minutes from the city center by car) in a nice and safe area. We highly recommend.

Thanks Alain...we enjoyed having you and have turned the security lights off that are near the windows. We wish you would have told us about them during your stay! As for the air conditioning, I don't know what to say...it's a brand new AC unit :). I guess they don't like AC in France lol.

Christmas and New Year’s 2024
Publié le 2 janv. 2025 sur HomeAwayProperty nice, a little worn but nice. Bedrooms were spacious. Kitchen usable but no stove ventilation. Location is excellent! Just a block off of Magazine. Would stay again.

Thanks Mark. I think you may be the only 4 star review we have ever received as we typically get 5 star reviews. Having said that, yes there is no vent in the kitchen and we have recently renovated the property including all new beds/mattresses, bathrooms/fixtures etc. as of 1/10/2025.

Bathrooms everywhere!”
Walking distance to Magazine St and trolley
Short drive to French quarter and we also drove about 30 minutes for a swamp tour
Lots of great places to eat close by
Easy walk for kids
Thanks again for out stay!

New Orleans Like a Native
Publié le 24 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayEnjoy uptown New Orleans. Walk to one of numerous restaurants or shops on nearby Magazine Street. Easy to drive or take bus down to the French Quarter.
Jason was a great host. Available, but not intrusive.
And finally, great central air.
Would book again next time we go to New Orleans.

Wedding trip
Publié le 14 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayHad a great stay in the big easy. Property located a block from Magazine street with easy access to St Charles and Napoleon avenue. The unit is in the ground floor of a beautiful, historic home. There is street parking outside the gate and no steps are required to enter. There are 3 good sized bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Perfect location for a wedding at Audubon.
