Best location with a great host!
Publié le 10 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayLoved the neighborhood.Good food and coffee shops within walking distance or just minutes away. Private parking right in front of the house. Easy drive, or Lyft to most of the sights and the French quarter. House was spacious and had great air-conditioning. House was super clean and the beds were comfortable. We forgot a personal item and the host' went out of their way to ship it to us. You couldn't be in better hands.

Great for an intergenerational family

Most houses were elaborately decorated welcoming! The kids had a great time and the adults had fun just watching them and admiring scene, friendliness and energy!

Joey was an excellent host and incredibly easy to communicate with. Wish all hosts were like him. Would be an honor to be able to stay again.

Amazing property!

It was important to me that I find a safe, comfortable place to stay outside of the French Quarter. That is exactly what I found with Joey's place. Joey was wonderful from the time we booked through check out, he reached out many times, and was extremely helpful. I even reached out about some questions and suggestions a few weeks before arriving and he spent most of a Saturday afternoon chatting with me, relieving all of my worries! Upon arrival my husband and I were amazed, the place is huge! You can bring your entire extended family and have more than enough space! We brought our dog with his and he loved having the front yard to explore, and there was plenty of room inside for him to play safely as well. The neighborhood is very safe, we took walks everyday. It is about a 10 minute walk to Audobon Park, and there is a delicious Po Boy shop about two blocks away on Magazine Street. We were able to easily walk up to St. Charles Ave and catch the Street Car into the city. We had an amazing trip and would definitely stay here again!
