Excellent, gorgeous room, very comfortable in the heart of the French Quarter. Be prepared for sticker shock from $42/night parking charge. Will likely return.

The Olivier House was so beautiful and had a great homey atmosphere too. Our room was in the first floor and had was very nice and cleanly. We were right by the pool, which was awesome! Everything was within walking distance from the hotel and we saw and did so many things during our four day stay. They let us check out late since our flight didn’t leave until Sunday night and that was a plus! Thank you for a great stay and we will be coming back to stay again.

I loved the history and quirkiness of the hotel with all its stairways, hallways, courtyard spaces, brick interior walls, woodwork, and furnishings. Your cookie-cutter hotel it is NOT and thank goodness for that! My room was spacious, the bed comfy, the shower HUGE, and we even had a delightful balcony. We were encouraged to wander the facilities, and I loved all the nooks and crannies and shared spaces on the first floor, including a nice coffee/tea bar with everything you needed including bottled water and cookies. The hotel cats were lounging about in the reception area and happy to be petted. The location cannot be beat - steps away from Bourbon Street but not so close you could hear the noise. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone unless big-box hotels are your thing.

Olivier House is a premier hotel in the French Quarter of New Orleans. A unique setting full of charm and a bit of old world style. The public areas are comfortable and interesting. The hotel is clean and the staff were attentive and friendly. Our room was very clean and comfortable. A unique space that was a wonder. The balcony was comfortable and allowed us a view over the city. Overall this was a great experience. Special thanks to John who gave us great dining recommendations and ideas of spots to visit.

Unique property but $ need to be spent updating beds and floors that are not level and slanting so walking inside the room is sometimes difficult. Noisy, all hours from people walking and driving. the Olivier House is beautiful. we had room 111 (a loft room) and it was so awesome. the whole property is so cool. the outside is deceiving, the property is HUGE! It’s an older establishment like most of the french quarter, but would rather stay here than any of the “chain” hotels. the front desk staff was very nice and helpful. free coffee (regular and espresso!) and water for guests. the lobby cats are also very sweet and welcoming. the pool is gorgeous and just what we needed after walking around (still humid here in LA in sept 😂) each room has individual aesthetic, you feel like you are staying in a plantation home. you definitely want to stay here to get the whole NOLA experience. and location is absolutely perfect. you are almost smack dab in the middle of the french quarter. i can see why people say they will only stay here from now on. we were so impressed 💖
