Great location! Walking fistance to Bourbon Street, Decatur Street and other landmarks. The hotel it self was beautiful and on the Mississippi River. We did not have any meals or drinks inside the hotel as we were in New Orleans for the food and local experience but we did recieve a $30 meal voucher. Would recommend!

The location is perfect and many restaurants, shops and places of interest are in walking distance. The bar and the bar staff was poor in selection, service and attitude. The rooms were never cleaned properly. I through the bar drink down the sink and left the glass on the counter by the tv. That stayed there days later. I left it there when I checked out. There were items that were not disposed off and tub was not cleaned. Expected much better for a 4 star hotel. Kay, the manager, was understanding and accommodating

It took forever to get seated for breakfast at the “Bistro on the Bend”, the only place to get breakfast in the hotel. Once seated, service was slow. However, the short order cook was excellent!

The staff was very friendly. The hotel is very well situated in the French Quarter near great restaurants but they don't have a restaurant in the hotel were you can go and have a nice lunch or dinner. The one they have opens only for breakfast. You can grab something to eat (not too many options available) in your room or at the bar/lobby area but it's quite loud with people doing check in and check out. The housekeeping ladies are very loud and slammed the doors at all hours, from very early 7am. One night at 11:00pm we had to asked them to lower their voices because they were shouting in the hallway and guests were trying to rest. The room doors are not sealed so you can hear everyone passing through and even their conversations, so definitely the hotel should change the doors (they look old with lots of paint through the years, and the locks didn't work in either of the rooma we stayed in (2123 and 2115). Also, when we checked in, one of our rooms wasn't ready and after we got there, the bellman had to call de front desk to let them know it was all messy so we had to go and wait for housekeeping to clean it. Overall the hotel is in a very well situated area but lacks a few amenities like a restaurant, a pool, and other little things in the rooms, that guests are accustomed in Westin resorts (there was no hand cream, no shower cap and there were no bathrobes (although the room description expressly states they were supposed to be there).

The doors in the room, are not completely sealed so yoy can hear everything and everyone whose talking in the hallways. One night we had to contact the front desk because the housekeeping ladies were shouting and slamming doors at 11:00 pm while they were cleaning some rooms ( at that hour!) and we were trying to sleep. Every morning they would start talking, shouting and slamming doors very early and wake everyone. A few times we had to go to the hallway and kindly ask them to lower their voices. So definitely, the room doors are a problem. The hotel doesn't have a pool or a restaurant. The only "restaurant" they have opens just for breakfast so if you want to have a nice dinner, you must go out. They do have a few things to eat at the bar area and in room dining but no restaurant. The front desk staff was really friendly and helpful, as were the concierge ladies. The view from the lobby (which is in level 11) was beautiful. Overall the hotel is nice, it's very well located, near great restaurants and shops.

Enjoyed the bar and music. The room was not the best. Had to actually change rooms because of no hot water. The second room bathroom was just not what we thought. I’ve stayed in Westin in Atl that I give 10 stars. This one was not. Low pressure with bathroom sink, spotty tub. Spots on covers and a pillow. No microwave. Even carpet was not up to par. The room just wasn’t fitting so I was never comfortable like I would normally be.

I wish they disclosed all their fees upfront rather than at check out. The $30 credit they offer at check in is just enough to offset their resort fee, which is by the way is $30 per day and which is not disclosed at check in. We would not have ordered drinks and food at the hotel (not the best quality) if we knew they will not be covered by $30 credit. Not happy about it.
