Classic New Orleans "Shotgun" style home. Steps to the Mardi Gras parades and St. Charles streetcar. Enjoy the tree lined streets of uptown New Orleans . Very close to Tulane and Loyola. Lovely 2 bedroom, 2 bath cottage with hardwood floors, original architectural features - lots of NOLA charm!. The home is an entire half of a "double". Walk to Pascal Manale's, Charlie's Steakhouse or Le’s Baguette. French Truck coffee is across the street. Walk to Mardi Gras parades and the St. Charles streetcar. The location can't be beat! Fully appointed kitchen. W/D for guest convenience.

Location was excellent!
Walking distance to street car. Excellent location. Clean and spacious living space. Me and my kids really enjoyed ourselves - it was so much fun. I recommend this area if you don’t want to be near the hustle and bustle of the city. We will definitely stay again.

Cute place for our family-2adults and 2 teens.
Enjoyed our stay in New Orleans. The house was great for our family. The shotgun style was new for us. We put the teens in the back room so we wouldn’t have to see their mess and we could leave them undisturbed in the morning. Worked out great. We loved the old architecture-transom windows, high ceilings, wood floors. But also the updates that made it comfortable. Location was nice as we don’t like to stay in the noise and chaos of the city but we were only about 15 min from everything. We also walked down a few blocks to ride the street car on evening. The French truck coffee across the street is a great little coffee shop and so convenient. We also appreciated the hostess accommodating our check in time so we could make a family meet up in the French Quarter on time. Street parking was easy and never an issue. House was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Really enjoyed our stay over Christmas at this clean and slightly creaky NO shotgun with all the basics and no frills. Had to contact the landlord for lockbox key code as VRBO didn't send it. With minimal cost this place could be great!

SO CUTE
This place is seriously so cute with the decor. I spent a long weekend here with my friends and we loved the place. It had everything we needed and we all slept comfortably. There is a coffee shop across the street and nice restaurants are within walking distance. It's also a short drive to Bourbon Street. We would love to stay again!

Comfortable stay
My family and I really enjoyed our stay in this traditional shotgun house. It is nicely restored, and well equipped with modern conveniences, most importantly central air conditioning. It is also located in a friendly neighborhood, a few blocks off St. Charles Avenue, and perfectly situated within the city with easy access to the Garden District, Uptown parks, and museums in Mid-City. Good restaurants and cafes are also within walking distance. The owner was very thoughtful and accessible as well. We would definitely choose to stay here again!

New Home Away from Home in NOLA
Fantastic stay! Love the house & neighborhood. Quiet neighborhood, street parking right in front of the house, and immediately across the street from amazing coffee and café French Truck. Great updated modern bathrooms and very comfortable beds. Perfect for our family of two adults and two elementary school children! Host fantastic, immediately, responsive, very helpful. Will definitely stay again.

Great Space for Families
Overall we had a great experience with this property and with the property manager. We checked in later in the evening on our arrival day. We had a small issue at the time of checkin and contacted Rochelle immediately, and she promptly responded and personally had the situation resolved within 30 minutes. We couldn’t have asked for a better response! The space worked great for our family of 4. Parking is on the street but there are plenty of spots available on that block. We really enjoyed the neighborhood and French Truck Coffee just across the street. The St Charles street car is a quick 3 block walk away and provides convenient access to Canal Street and the French Quarter (note: it does get really busy in the afternoon so be patient). The checkin binder had several good suggestions for neighborhood dining. Checkout was a breeze. Great experience and would suggest this listing for any families or small groups headed to NOLA.

Super clean and beautifully decorated home. Lots of good dining options within a few blocks. And we easily walked to Freret and to St. Charles on several occasions. Thanks for the great stay in New Orleans.

Great location for NOLA exploring!
We stayed here for a family trip to NOLA. The location was great for our plans - short walk to St Charles street car, from which we could easily get to Audobon Park or connect to other areas of interest. Loved being across the street from French Truck Coffee and Le Baguette. House was clean and owner was very accommodating of our needs. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect & fantastic location

Sweet New Orleans shotgun, great location
Cheery and comfortable! It's true shotgun style so be aware that people will walk through one bedroom to get to the other! Nice to have two updated bathrooms and a good amount of shared space with the kitchen, dining room, and living room. We walked everywhere from here and very much enjoyed this house. Thoughtful and helpful host too!

Perfect location!!
This was a super comfortable and spacious house. The location was perfect for us with a few surprise gems nearby (The French Truck Cafe, Atchafalaya and Le’s Baguette Banh Mi cafe). While staying here we enjoyed visiting the Audubon Park, New Orleans City Park as well French Quarters which were all about 15mins away. More than the location being perfect for us, the host, Rochelle K., was such a pleasure. She was very responsive and accommodating. Her understanding of our needs and quick responses to our many questions made this a perfect spot for us. We have stayed in fancier places but haven’t had the same sense of welcoming that Rochelle provided. Thank you! Thank you!!

Wonderful stay in NoLA
Our stay could not have been better. The location was perfect during Mardi Gras — just a few blocks to the start of the parade route on Napoleon Avenue. Don’t believe what you read about Mardi Gras, at least in this part of town. It’s actually a wonderful, family-friendly event that our kids (9 and 11) really loved (admittedly we went nowhere near the French Quarter until the day after Fat Tuesday). The restaurants in the neighborhood — French Truck Coffee, Superior Seafood and Le Banh Mi — were all great. It’s easy to get down to the French Quarter, WWII museum, etc. via cab, Uber, streetcar or foot. And the host was just wonderful — super communicative and friendly, and she even left us a king cake, coffee and some Mardi Gras swag. Do not hesitate to rent this place. If you do, we may just beat you to it!
