Comfort in the woods
Publié le 22 août 2024 sur HomeAwayA comfortable if older home with lots of natural light in the woods near New Paltz and Mohonk. Outdoor table and chairs plus grill make summer great. Host was very responsive and helpful. House could use a comfortable chair or two.

Didn't Want to Leave!
Publié le 4 août 2024 sur HomeAwayLoved staying at this cabin and we were sad to leave! The property is unique with all of the boulders and the cabin is well designed to take advantage of the views. It is a peaceful retreat, yet very close to town for supplies/dining. Cabin is clean and well appointed with all you need. (We only used the main floor so cannot comment on the loft or basement.) Saw deer several times during our stay, one with a fawn (adorable)! Host was lightening fast answering any questions we had. Highly recommend!

Serene unique Mid century modern home

All of the comforts and amenities of home. Plenty of room for family and friends. Excellent host communication.

Perfect weekend
Publié le 20 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were in New Paltz for our grandaughter’s graduation from SUNY NewPaltz. What a perfect location to stay at! It is so close to restaurants, shopping and to the college. The home was immaculate, with very comfortable beds, in a beautiful woodsy setting. We all had a wonderful weekend! The host was very responsive to our messages too! Definitely one of the nicest places we have stayed at in our travels.

Return to Rock The Ridge
Publié le 8 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayOur group was renting this property for the 2nd time as we came back to participate in the nearby Mohonk Preserve's annual fundraising 50 mile race, Rock The Ridge. We found this house so comfortable and convenient for this event that we were happy to be able to rent it again. With a full kitchen, washing machine and 3 bathrooms, it is the perfect place for us to prepare and then rest after our effort. The house is beautiful and the grounds are striking. While we didn't have a lot of "down time" in the house during the weekend, we enjoyed our stay in these lovely surroundings. As before, our host, Sascha, immediately responded to any questions we had. We hope to return again next year.
