It was quaint and clean but needs a bit of work. Landscaping needed work but you could tell it was lovely at one time. The owner was very nice.

This place is a classic older property that the owners obviously take great pride in. And the personal customer service is great.

Never again!

Super time bathroom and shower stall was a joke. No electrical outlets except in bathroom, no coffee in room OR office. TP was like tissue paper..had to use 3 times as much. Office closes very early, have to call for code. Very disappointed.

Jan, thanks for taking the time to express your concerns. The booking site you used has pictures showing the size of the bathroom and shower you chose. It also has pictures of the much larger rooms that have larger bathrooms and tubs. There are nine outlets in the bedroom and two more in the bathroom. There is an unused outlet on the wall below the flat screen tv, along with outlets for the microwave, refrigerator, window candle, and other lights, any of which you are free to unplug and use. When you called on the day of your arrival to get the code for your door, you gave no indication it was a problem. Had you expressed any hesitancy, I would have gladly cancelled your reservation. Most guests find it very convenient and have no issue with it.

The place is run by an older couple who know what they are doing and do it really well. If I could have given them 6 stars I would have. Hint- go to the Iron Skillet just down the road for a really good breakfast

Loved this place--old school motel (think Raylan Givens' place in Justified) that was run by sweet lady with style. The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable. Can't wait to stay again! Oh, and the price was very inexpensive; don't let it scare you off. In this case, cheap meant "bargain", not crappy."
