The Cozy Little Red Cottage Near Amish Country

Whether your trip is for business or pleasure, you'll be able to breathe and relax in our quiet country setting located just minutes from Interstate 77. We're within walking distance to Take the Lead Stables where we have Horse boarding and riding lessons available upon request. Interested in visiting Amish Country or the Football Hall of Fame? We're just a short drive away! Our cottage has 1 bedroom with a Queen size bed and we also have air mattresses available, if needed.

Perfect Cozy Cabin
We really enjoyed our stay here! The cabin was quaint, cozy, clean, and just right for the two of us. Being on a horse ranch was fun and the front porch was so relaxing. Very friendly people.

Family Visit
We will stay again. Great location for our needs. Comfortable sleeping and visiting furniture. Home was furnished nicely. Could not have been any cleaner, very clean. Horses right near the porch. Only thing that could have been better. We stayed during 90 plus degree temperatures. During the afternoon hours the air cooling unit could not keep up with cooling the home. It would take to the late evening early morning hours for the home to cool.

Loved the cozy red cottage
I can’t say that we’ve ever enjoyed a weekend getaway as much as this one. Staying on an active horse ranch submerged us into a whole different world. We learned so much about the horses and looked forward to going and seeing the horses throughout our stay. We will definitely be back!!

The property was private and peaceful. Very comfy for my husband and I for our anniversary trip. Host was very helpful and pleasant to talk to. Enjoyed being on the horse farm and seeing all the horses. Definitely will be back again.

We had a great stay in the Little Red Cottage, and will definitely be staying there again. So quiet and cozy!!! Felt more like home than staying in a motel. We both loved it. I'd give it 5+ stars!!

We unfortunately had a snowstorm during our visit so we didn't get to explore as we had hoped. Glad we had a comfortable place to stay during the storm. Would love to visit again under better weather conditions. The setting was beautiful.

Heaven on Earth
We were so happy with our Cottage, location perfect, condition, perfect, we had everything we needed & the owner stopped in to check on us to get the tv working. We will never stay anywhere else when we visit family in this area when we come back from Texas for our yearly visit. I loved visiting with the horses & just sitting in the rocking chair outside relaxing was enough for me. Thanks so much we will be back.

Perfect for us!
We definitely enjoyed our weekend at the cabin. It was a perfect out-of-the-way getaway, with great accessibility both to Canton and Ohio’s Amish country. It was very clean, in a quiet area, with just the sounds of nature and the horses to enjoy while we were there. A perfect place to (mostly) unplug - we would stay again if in the area.

Great cabin!
Just like the pictures, it’s a great cabin and a wonderful place to stay! Clean, quiet, comfortable, and with the comforts of home. If I’m traveling back to the area, I would definitely want to stay here again.

Great Stay
We had a great stay at the Cozy Little Red Cottage. We had plenty of room; it was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch with our morning coffee and watching the horses. The cottage is close to rail trails, Amish country, and Cuyahoga National Park.

Old friends running away from home
It was very unique. Very comforable and cozy. Enjoyed the challenge of the pellet stove. We hope we left it in good shape. There were no directions for trash removal so we left the trash in the cottage. Wasn't sure if we should shut the stove off or not. Or what do do with the towels and sheets. Overall a relaxing and fun time.

retreat from hustle and bustle of city life
if your looking a place to get away from people and refresh in the quiet stillness but yet still be close enough to go somewhere this is the place..i needed to just get away and recharge by myself and this place was the answer...price beats any other cabin lodging by far ..and being able to visit the horses and walk the property was very calming ...highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet get away in a quaint little cabin/cottage

Set on a horse farm, the cozy house was warm and welcoming. The area was serene country. Heat was from a pellet stove, which may take a little getting used to for city folks, but was toasty warm quickly. The house was close to many of the places we visited — Zoar, Dover, New Philadelphia, and Sugarcreek to name a few— and we enjoyed the country roads and beautiful scenery getting to the places we visited. We loved going out to the corrals with the many horses that were boarded there. We’d love to go back!

Cozy little cabin, pellet stove was a nice touch. Horses were beautiful and great entertainment while drinking our morning coffee on front porch which also had a propane fire to warm you on the cold mornings.
