Big enough for our family group
Publié le 23 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayI was thrown off by some of the pricing. The pictures posted is not how it looks anymore. Inside the cabin had a lot of potential to be extremely nice but it is lacking in general maintenance such as doors that wouldn’t open or close all the way. Cracks in door ways that let in a lot of bugs and the outside temperature. Windows were missing curtains which let a lot of light in when sleeping and very little privacy to the neighbors. Was only given 2 trash bags and 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom and I had a large group for almost 5 days. The beds was very uncomfortable and the frames where falling apart. Again this property has some great potential.

When we got to the cabin, the coffee pot that was in the listing was not there (needs updated pics as ones in the listing are old) and we had issues with the WiFi/TV. I contacted Gentry, he went and bought a new coffee maker and brought to us. Also fixed the WiFi/TV issues. More for a larger group, there was only 2 of us. Overall a nice stay.

Publié le 26 août 2024 sur HomeAwayDefinitely not pet friendly!! No where for pets to go, no play, no grass, no outdoor trash can! Had to ask for a coffee pot and additional toilet paper! He brought the coffee pot which was filthy! No dining table as stated. Microwave was rusted on the inside! Outdoor furniture was filthy and ripped! Fire pit full of trash! Umbrella ready to fall apart! Picnic table full of bird poop! Window air units not shown in pictures of cabin.

My kids had a blast in the hot tub they didn't want to leave :)....Gentry the host was spectacular and quick to respond to any of our needs highly recommend!!!

Quiet with NO LIGHT POLLUTION.

It was quiet, no cars, no light pollution so you could really see the stars while in the hot tub. My dog loved being able to have area to run and explore. Our host Gentry was friendly, quick to respond to any questions, concerns, or problems we had. We did not have any problems except one night the power went out. It was a very cold night. We ended up leaving a day early but Gentry did reimburse us for the night not used. He did get power restored but we were already 1 hour away from the property. We are planning to stay again next yr. If you need firewood...Ask Gentry! The trash receptacle is at the cabin next door. You will have everything you need and shopping is only 24 mins away if you do need more. Disclaimer: You are in a cabin in the woods and hills of Hocking Hills Ohio...There will be bugs. It is NOT a big deal! Since it was warmer there than in Indiana...We saw stink bugs, ladybugs and the occasional fly...nothing else. Once again...It's NOT that big of a deal! Moving on...Had a great time and will stay again. Thank You Gentry for your hospitality. The Reese's
