Publié le 7 oct. 2024 sur HotelsIt’s a nice central place, the room did smell when we arrived and the bath gel wasn’t filled up - this should be checked before checkin. Other than that, the facilities were functional and there was a nespresso machine with pods provided.

We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay again. The room was really large and have everything needed. The bed was very comfortable and shower was great. It was in a really good location, close to restaurants, shops, museum and the beach

Fabulous. Most comfy bed. Shower didnt drain properly otherwise was amazing. For the manger, i didnt appreciate the reception calling twice about checking in. It would have been ok but i felt on this occasion the tone was unwelcoming. As a hotels.com gold member , this part could be improved to not feel unwelcome b4 even arriving.

I recently stayed at the Metrotel in New Plymouth and had a very pleasant experience. The motel is conveniently located in the heart of the city, making it easy to access nearby attractions, restaurants, and shops.
The room was clean, modern, and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities provided, such as the flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, and kitchenette, added to the convenience of the stay. The bathroom was spotless and stocked with quality toiletries.
The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any queries or requests. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient.
The only minor downside was that the parking area could get a bit crowded, but it was manageable. Overall, the Metrotel offered great value for money and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to New Plymouth.
