Publié le 20 sept. 2024 sur HotelsStayed in New Quay many times but this was our first stay at The Penwig and it didnt disappoint. We booked a sea view room which was lovely as you could sit in the morning and watch the dolphins out in the bay. The room was spacious and spotless. The breakfasts were tasty with a few choices and also catered for vegetarians.
The staff were friendly, polite and nothing was too much trouble. There is no onsite parking but we used the carpark around the corner. It does get a bit noisey early in the am with deliveries to the pub and surrounding businesses etc but it wouldnt deter us in staying again.

The hotel was well situated and we had a lovely sea view. It was a little noisy outside at times, particularly in the mornings but to be expected in a seaside location.
Overall we couldn't fault it and had a very pleasant stay :)

We stayed in the family room at the back of the hotel.
Spotlessly clean. Beds were SO comfortable. Excellent staff, really welcoming and helpful.
Gorgeous food in the hotel and my favorite wine.
Hotel is perfectly situated, looking out over the harbour.
Beautiful breakfast in the morning too.
I will be returning, very impressed.

I regularly use this hotel for visiting family . Always a great welcome from the staff and positioning is second to none .
