Charming home. Need directions.
Publié le 17 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe home is wonderful in a great location. Only if that location was known to the rental company. It may be a google problem, but someone needs to pin the correct location, otherwise you wind up on the wrong ferry, in the wrong town.

Great location on the bay & close to ferry

When we arrived one of the front door window panes closest to the door handle was broken. Anyone could put a hand through and open the door. This made us feel unsafe. We contacted Vacasa, but nothing was done about it.
Also, there was no air conditioner, so it could be stuffy on a hot day. There is a spiral staircase that leads up to the bedrooms, elderly or disabled would have a difficult time negotiating them. Coffee pot could be larger, only serves 2cups. The bathroom is really small & there is no place to leave toiletries, so we kept them on the kitchen table.
The owner arrived after our first day & he stays in the front of the townhouse. No problem, although their door is adjacent to the outside deck that we sat on, so it was a little uncomfortable.
Not sure I would rent again due to no air, no television, & small bathroom/shower, but loved the location. I spent most of my time sitting outside.

Great for family
Publié le 20 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had a good time with being on the bay and a quick walk to the ocean. The only issue was with cleanliness. Upon arrival the rental was not clean. It got cleaned after calling to complain. After the cleaning the sheets had stains and the couches had stains. Overall its a great place that just needs better cleaning maintenance.
