I thought city view would be a city view not a building in front of the window, but the palace was fine.

Beware if you're a business traveler looking for a place to stay in a convenient location. This hotel closes its lobby between Midnight and 6 am each night, leaving guests stranded if they need to work or mingle with others. This policy is unheard of in my extensive hotel experience and feels more restrictive than a college dorm. When I raised my concerns with a staff member on duty on 12/23/2024, the response was dismissive. If you value flexibility and late-night activities, consider this before booking.

Addendum:
The hotel's response that guests have access to the lobby is both misleading and incorrect.
I was a guest...with a key! That still didn't stop him from demanding that I leave the lobby where I had already been for an hour quietly working on my computer.
He's was very clear that the lobby was closed from Midnight-6am, so what's the point in having a key or being a guest?
