Low quality hotel, not close to JFK
Publié le 24 sept. 2024 sur HotelsOld looking rooms, everything smells like smoke of cigarettes and other stuff. The walls literally stink of it.
Shower floor had lots of black bacteria.
Some rooms have a refrigerator and some don’t so if you need one, you have to tell the front desk.
Service is pretty slow.
Area is bad, scary and not that close to JFK airport.

we apologize that we at the Hotel Bliss were unable to meet up to your standards, if you need a refrigerator in your room please bring that matter up to the attention of the front desk staff when checking in, most hotels in the area of JFK are shelters, please keep that in mind, there are more expensive hotels i am sure that are willing to accommodate your desires for a larger fee, please don't be scare of the surrounding area because it is a residential area, meaning they are all private homes .

It’s a mid-value property, sidewalks are lit and I suppose it’s relatively easy to get to. Infrequent busses but it’s less than 20 minutes to the A train if you don’t dilly dally. Linden Blvd is pretty loud but at least you don’t have one way access streets so it’s fairly safe.

The moment I walked in the room I wanted to leave but there was a no refund policy and I didn’t want to ruin my night because it was my honeymoon, I thought this was a hotel, not a roach motel, once I checked in and move away from the desk, the person who was next in line behind me ask the front desk how much for 3 hours, the place was dirty the shower was dirty, there was 2 big holes in the duvet cover, the linens were very wrinkled make me think that they might not have been changed, no bodywash, no shampoo, little bit of tissue on a roll for just one use, we went down and complained and the guy at the front desk was extremely rude and dismissive to us. I couldn’t take a shower because I didn’t want to catch fungus. This was the worst experience I ever had staying at a hotel.

we appreciate your concern, please keep in mind that you checked in at 8:00PM and you didn't come to the front desk until 5:00AM that's a 9 hour difference, if you has ask the front desk to change your room it would have been no problem, but instead you came down stairs intoxicated after 9 hours and we also received noise complaint from your next door neighbor about your behavior, sorry we couldn't live up to your expectations on your budget
