Property and facilities are rundown with very little recent maintenance. The hotel felt dirty due to lack of upkeep. Great location for events at the Javits Center and food in Hell’s Kitchen. Carefully consider this Hotel, basic comfort is really more important than location.

Staff was friendly. However, bed mattresses were poor quality. Room has no external windows! No glasses in the room for water. No coffee machine!

As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Pros: near transport links. Near times square Friendly staff but unhelpful No resort fees Cons: No safe No adequate wardrobe No hairdryer No blanket/duvet No toiletries Long dark corridors No housekeeping (3 days) No coffee facilities Tv run by a firestick Poor connection wifi A/C unit poorly fitted with a gap that a hand could fit it. Window blind couldn't cover window unless air con off. A foot gap that anyone passing room could see into room. Very tatty bathroom Dirty floor Nowhere to hang wet clothes. Apparently the hotel has had or is going through a refurbishment. If its finished I'd dread to think what it was like before.

Not the best but you get what you pay for. This hotel was on the low price end. Our room was dark with windows that had to have the shades down all the time since it looked onto the hallway where all guests walked to go to the elevator….which we heard every ding all night long. Bathroom grout could use a mold cleaning. Rest of the room was clean and prepared for us. Mattress was comfortable though.
Room with shades down to shut off the guests traffic in the hallway.

My room was next to the elevator and people coming and going all night. Getting a copy of a final invoice is nearly impossible. No phone number to call and the phone number this is listed after searching and searching different sites , you call and they can’t help you. I finally found an email and still no response.

The room was less than expected, it was extremely dark even with all the lights on, the bed was horribly stiff and we couldn’t even get one extra pillow. The bathroom was a huge size but the shower was weird and the water would stay at the other end and you would have to stop in cold water to get in and out of the shower. The cooling/heating system appeared to be broken so they had a temporary solution in our room that did not get the room too cool so it was super hot during the day. The location was perfect for the area we wanted to stay in and the amenities looked nice but we did not get a chance to check them out due to the length of our stay.

Samantha was amazing and so was the Bell Gentleman. The rest of the staff was fine, but it was the rooms, coordination with other staff members, unorganized, no phone in the rooms, no alarm clocks, very dirty floors and much more….

I would NOT recommend staying here - particularly for the price. The rooms look like they were thrown together really quickly and cheaply. Metal frame beds, no closets, a really crappy clothes organizer - looks like they got it from a discount bodega on 42nd street. Zero amenities - no blow dryer, iron, ironing board. The air conditioner was one of those portable units I got for my daughters college dorm - it worked well but super noisy. Also personally annoying, and a common occurance these days, a $75 early check-in fee which they were nice enough to make it $50 for checking in at noon - still crazy since the room was def open and just sitting there vacant. We stay frequently in NYC for overnights or long weekends - unfortunately we won't return here. There are much better options out there IMHO.
