Worst experience ever I went for new years their heater and water heater system was not working I had to cancel the booking they told I was going to get a full refund of $1,200.00 so I went ahead and booked another hotel that same night of arrival to NY. After a month and half have past they haven’t reached out to the Expedia team for approval of refund so i didn’t get anything back even tho it was on the hotel side for the inconvenience how can you stay in a hotel for 3 nights when it was cold and not take a hot shower??!

I picked this hotel because it stated "Central hotel with a 24-hour front desk connected to the convention center in New York". It was definitely not connected and was actually 6 blocks away. Also, I have never stayed at a hotel that didn't have a closet or any other area to hang your clothes. They didn't even have drawers to put your clothes in. No iron or board and the TV was not connected. Very, very disappointed.

Reopened & I love this place

Wonderful. 10 of us from our company stayed here for a convention at the Javitz and it is super convenient to walk to/from each day. Most of the front desk staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, particularly Amanda and Terrence. This place is special. It’s not to be confused with a sterile national chain. Don’t stay here if that’s what you’re looking for. This hotel is quirky and I love that about it. As they’re in the process of reopening you might have an issue, but simply ask the front desk and they’ll take care of it for you immediately. Super convenient to Javitz, late-night shops, delis, and restaurants. Theatre and Times Square are also walking distance. I particularly recommend Capizzi’s Italian just a few blocks away. I can’t say enough nice things about this hotel and its staff. I will try to stay here every year and I hope you’ll enjoy it too.

Never stay at Hudson Yard hotel ,1st night in freezing temperatures the boiler breaks, no heat no hot water was promised a refund I didn’t even stay , I checked out and my refund was denied by Expedia , ridiculous!

Absolutely phenomenal experience and value. I think the property was going through a change of ownership because the old awning was still up and some renovations were being done. Aside from that, you'd never know. Staff was amazing. Super friendly and willing to help. Place was clean and large. The architectural details in the building were fun and the courtyard area is beautiful

This was a great hotel to visit nyc on a budget. We walked everywhere during our short week-end trip. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Exactly what you’d expect from an affordable hotel in the city.

Over priced. Under Expectations. This hotel was nothing special. We booked a superior room, 1 queen bed and all you get is a queen bed, a mini fridge, a bathroom and a really loud heater.  There are no hooks or hangers to hang up your jacket, no phone in the room to call the front desk, no kettle/coffee machine, ice machine or water available. Upon check-in the staff were super friendly. They offer early check-in at an extra charge. But to avoid that the staff offered to hold our bags for us. We were walking distance from major attractions (Time Square, Bryant Park, Port Authority Terminal, Hudson Yards) We are so grateful for this service because we had time to explore the city before check-in. Checking in was a little slow and they had to page the maid to clean a room for us. There was no available rooms at 5pm, and check in was supposed to be at 4pm. At the time there was a broken window on our floor (in the common area) which lead to the room being extremely cold. The insulation in the room was terrible, the heat did not sustain and the heater was super loud.   Also… the walls are paper thin. Our neighbour must have just seen a board way show, because they were BELTING a lyrical duet. And the day we were supposed to check-out, we had limited hot water. If you’re desperate for a hotel, it is a clean room. But extremely over priced for what you’re getting.

We couldn't check in until 4 pm unless we paid an additional $75. They did store our luggage till 4 in a secure room. Once in our room, there wasn't any closet, and no place to hang a coat or anything. We had 2 double beds that only had one pillow each AND the pillows had no pillowcases. Once I discovered the lack of pillowcases I looked around the room for the room phone in order to call the front desk to ask for pillowcases and discovered there was no room phone. I had to look for the number to call the hotel from my cell phone. No pillowcases were delivered. My husband went downstairs to ask again for pillowcases and we still did not get pillowcases.
