Tiniest rooms ever
This is truly the smallest hotel room in America. Walk in the door and you're in the middle of your bathroom -- to your right is your vanity, which doubles as a closet. To the left a toilet and shower. Three steps in is the bed, advertised as a "cozy queen"...which means a full. If you go to the lobby to escape your tiny room, you're assaulted by the smell of incense that's so intense that I fled back to my room. I wouldn't ever stay here again.

Lovely stay. Tiny room. No closet. No tub, but for four days, the location and amenities suited me just fine. Kudos especially to Liz (Alderman) and Francis (Alderman bartender). Above and beyond and very sweet. Would definitely recommend Team Motto to anyone planning a trip to the theater district.

The location is everything that they have to offer. I'm not sure it's anything special though.The attention to cleaning details could be improved. Especially the floors. I understand frugality is being given priority, but the bathroom towels and linens are disgustingly abrasive and actually painful to use. The service level with personnel was as expected based on the other reviews. They do try to give customers what they can for the government required 30$/day fee. They did do the best at that. FYI, an area rug would help a lot.

The hotel was perfect for us! As a single mom with two kids, we really liked the room for 3, with the twin bunk above the double bed. Great location, great service. We’ll be back soon. ☺️

Would give this place a five except that both the shower and toilet are surrounded by clouded glass in a very small room. No walls, just clouded glass. Not great unless you’re fine with your travel partner having a cloudy view of your shower and bathroom activities.
